That's when Matthew will be home :)
I got his ticket last night.
This one was a little cheaper than the last; $497 Vs $675.
But that's still fucking expensive.
Of course, I'm flying him into my little hometown airport, which costs extra, but is worth it because of the hassle it eliminates.
No driving to StL or Nashville.
Just 5 minutes down the street, on the edge of town.
It's perfect.
So, yeah, it should be wonderful.
Home on the 3rd, and then he's heading back June 24th.
So I have him for 3 weeks.
Well, I'll have him for probably 10-14 days.
The rest of the time he'll be spending with his mother and hometown friends.
I figure, I'm paying for the trip, so I should get more time than anyone.
And I think I may just be selfish enough to make that happen.
I don't want to share him period, but I know I have to.
So I'll just take what I can get, and I'll try to get a little more ;)
It's been storming here all day.
I totally didn't want to get out of bed today.
I didn't feel the best, and could hear the rain outside my open window.
You know the sound.
And it was lightly telling me to "stay in bed; STAY IN BED!"
But I didn't.
I did have a rough morning, and was an hour late to work (which was fine as I called in to tell them), but the day is almost over, and I don't feel like total shit right now.
So that's a good thing.
I'll say this; the clock isn't moving very fast.
Too bad I can't just call it a day and head home.
That would be sweet, but it's totally not going to happen.
Oh well.
I really need a job that when I get finished with my work, I can go home.
That would be perfect :)
I'm sure a lot of you would enjoy the same job.
I think it's something everyone wishes they had at some point or another.
I'd be the swiftest, most efficient person around.
And no one would ever see me, because I'd already be done, even before they arrived.
I'd be back home in bed before my spot even got cold.
Now I'm just wishing outloud.
Like I said, it's been a long day.
I suppose I'm done for now.
Can't think of anything else to say.
OH, I did get Matthew's final care-package of the semester sent, Monday.
It'll be in NY Thursday.
And I made sure to load it with everything.
He shouldn't need to do any shopping at all until he comes home.
Maybe if he wants some fresh fruit, or veg, or something.
Or if he needs milk.
But otherwise, I think I got him covered.
He'll let me know, I'm sure.
I'm pretty positive I didn't forget anything, and may even surprise him with a couple things he's not expecting.
I like doing that :)
Ok, now I'm done.
I'll write more when I know more.
Until then...
