Matthew's gone :(
His flight left out of Marion a little after 6AM this morning.
He just texted me a few minutes ago, to say he's made it to New York.
I don't have any details yet, but it appears to have all gone off without a hitch.
That's a very good thing.
He's been so worried something was going to go wrong and we'd end up delayed again.
But no, things went the way they were supposed to, and now, he's there.
We spent as much time together as possible since Sunday.
There was a ton to accomplish before he left, and we're pretty sure we actually got it all done.
There's still a bundle of stuff he'll need up there, so we'll be sending plenty of care packages.
He's going to be pretty much broke the first three weeks he's there, being he doesn't get the bounce from his loan until then.
I don't know why they make him wait the time before he gets it, but hey, we can't do anything about it.
Them's the rules.
He's only been gone a little while, and I already miss him like crazy.
Sadly, I won't see him again until June.
He's totally sure we're going to make it through this and be fine.
At this point, I completely agree with him.
I'm also pretty sure everything's going to be alright in our world.
Let's just hope we're right.
