September already!
Happy September everyone! That means the Fall is coming soon!! I just love the falling leaves and the smell of apple cider and donuts. But all this isn't for a lil while atleast.
As for right now, it's back to school, swimming, and endless nights of homework. I hope Junior year will go well and that it won't be too stressful. I love swimming but these 2 1/2 hour daily practices are killing me and making me so tired that I can't stay awake to do my hw. My first swim meet was suppost to be sept 6th but that has been rescheduled till later in the month.
Important things that have happened lately are: I got my license finally last thursday, I now have a car, and my first job. YAY i'm excited to be driving but not with these gas prices. I know Katrina has effected things but I wouldn't think that gas prices would jump a whole dollar in a matter of 3 days. Everything I make at my job is gonna go directly to gas or insurance and what ever else is left school will probably snatch it up somehow. So well I work at Zuccaro's Banquet Hall at 21 and Gratiot, so ppl have your families have their parties there!!!
Yesterday School ended at 12:35 but it still felt like a whole day. After school, I took Danielle, Kim and Lauren to Olga's inside Eastland and we had lunch and then hit on a cute guy sitting at a table near us. We wrote him notes on napkins and then had the waitress deliver them lol. After having fun in Olga's it was nearing 3:00 and so I had to drive us back to East Detroit HS for swim practice from 3-5:30. after practice I had to go to dinner with my dad but I was in so much pain and I still don't know what was causing it. I was worried at first that I would have to go to the ER but it finally went away. So my dad took me out for Chinese food which tasted delicious since I haven't had in a long time and like maybe 2 months ago I was suppost to have it with someone but that never happened. then around 8:30 I had to go babysit for my neighbor and so I must have been tired for when the parents came home at 12 I was callapsed on the couch. I came home, got ready for bed and fell right asleep. Then I didn't wake up till 3:30 pm today. I think School and Swimming are tiring me out and the sad thing is that it was a short week this week and still I was exhausted.
Tonight was my first real night of work, that is after having put my application in this past monday. Work went well. It was a small family wedding that wasn't too hard to waitress for. I didn't think I would have to work till close tonight but I did. So I didn't leave there til 1:15 getting home at 1:30. It made for a looong night. and so i'm glad to be home. and that's what i'm doing right now, typing this entry out since I'm tired but not ready to go to bed and plus it's been a while since I updated.
Regina's hc is coming up soon and I still need a date. If anyone is interested in going let me know!
