So I saw all this memes at amato_sole 's LJ and I just couldn't stop myself from doing them ^^ Feel free to comment and maybe post one or two of them at your journal *grins*

Are you a book lover? A TV freak? A movie aficionado? Put your mind to the test, and list some of your favorite fictional characters - one for each letter of the alphabet.

Angus MacGyver (from "MacGyver" - who would have guessed ^^)
Bené (from "City of God")
Calleigh Duquesne (from "CSI: Miami")
Diana Troi (from "Star Trek - TNG")
Edward Lewis (from "Pretty Woman")
Fran Fine (from "The Nanny")
Gil Grissom (from "CSI: Las Vegas" *grins* safe candidate to be mentioned here)
Horatio Caine (from "CSI: Miami")
Ian Wallace (from "What a girl wants")
Jack O'Neill (from "Stargate: SG-1" - also not that surprising ^^)
Kaiser Soeze (from "The Usual Suspects")
Lee Statson (from "Scarecrow and Mrs. King")
Max Sheffield (from "The Nanny")
Niles the Butler :P (from "The Nanny")
Ocean, Danny (from "Ocean's 11/12/13")
Paul "Muad'Dib" Atreides (from "Dune")
Quellek (from "Galaxy Quest")
Remus Lupin (from "Harry Potter" - for those who don't know him - can't wait for the new movie *sighs*)
Samantha Carter (from "Stargate: SG-1)
Tremaine 'Tre' Ramzey (from "Futuresport")
Uhura (from "Star Trek - TOS")
Vikki Hiller (from "Down with Love")
William Riker (from "Star Trek - TNG")
Xavier, Prof. (from "X-Men")
Yelina (from "CSI: Miami")
Zorro (well - from "The Mask/Legend of Zorro" - in other words - the Antonio Banderas Zorro)

Never would have guessed that I found a character for every letter of the alphabet ^^ I did surprise myself with this outcome! It's really tough to come up with the names for certain letters - for example "E", "U", "X" and "Y"... And for other letters I could have named at least 2 or more characters!

Off to the next meme - Some questions concerning movies...

1. Name a movie that you have seen more than 10 times.

Oh boy, there are so many I've seen more than 10 times. Just to name a few "Bodyguard", "Dead Again", "The Goonies", "Dave", "Desperado", "Gladiator"...

2. Name a movie that you've seen multiple times in the theater.

"Gladiator", "The Legend of Zorro", "Bewitched"...

3. Name an actor that would make you more inclined to see a movie.

George Clooney, Sean Connery, Antonio Banderas, Gerald Butler, Catherine Zeta-Jones...

4. Name an actor that would make you less likely to see a movie.

Tom Cruise, Daniel Craig (though I like his Bond - I just can't see that man in the face - definitely not my type!)

5. Name a movie that you can and do quote from.

Moulin Rouge

6. Name a movie musical that you know all of the lyrics to all of the songs.

Does "Bodyguard" count? Otherwise there would be "De-Lovely", "Moulin Rouge", "Evita"

7. Name a movie that you have been known to sing along with.

"De-Lovely", "Moulin Rouge", "Singing in the Rain", "Evita"

8. Name a movie that you would recommend everyone see.

"City of God", "Hamlet" - but the "Kenneth Branagh"-version!

9. Name a movie that you own.

Definitely way too many... Don't think I should post more than 200 titles, or should I? :P My closet is bursting with DVDs. Latest acquirement: "Henry V"... Love a good Shakespeare film adaptation ^^

10. Name an actor that launched his/her entertainment career in another medium but who has surprised you with his/her acting skills.

Mandy Moore - Loved her in "A walk to remember"

11. Have you ever seen a movie in a drive-in? If so, what?

Nop, but I would love too!

12. Ever made out in a movie?

What do you think? ;)

13. Name a movie that you keep meaning to see but just haven't yet got around to it.

14. Ever walked out of a movie?

Closest call was "America's Sweethearts" - never have seen a movie THAT boring!

15. Name a movie that made you cry in the theater.

"The Lion King", "Armageddon" (So what? I'm a softie ^^ Don't like it when my heroes die and Bruce dying in that movie was just cruel!). Funny thing is, I never cried in "Titanic" - don't think many can state that ^^

16. Popcorn?

Sometimes...

17. How often do go to the movies (as opposed to renting them or watching them at home)?

If I can afford it - once a week.

18. What's the last movie you saw in the theater?

Unfortunately "Spiderman 3"

19. What's your favorite/preferred genre of movie?

Sci-Fi, Action, Thriller, Comedy

20. What's the first movie you remember seeing in the theater?

I think it was "3 Men and a Baby" - but I'm not sure...

21. What movie do you wish you had never seen?

"American Sweethearts" is high up the list - other than that can't think of any, oh wait could have done without "Eragon" too! The book was awesome, but the movie just sucked!

22. What is the weirdest movie you enjoyed?

Weirdest? "Stranger than fiction" was weird. Also "Pan's Labyrinth" was a bit strange and definitely not a kid’s film.

23. What is the scariest movie you've seen?

"It" scared the shit hell out of me when I was younger!

24. What is the funniest movie you've seen?

Well recently there was "Born to be wild" - laughed my ass off ^^

Damn it's late again. I'm off to bed. And later on I will post my take on CSI:LV 7x23. So stay tuned ^^
