doctor please, some more of these

Last night was the second Thursday that I've gone to play pickup indoor soccer.  It's been about 4 years since I even touched a ball and probably 6 since I played indoor (and the first time ever that I've pulled my hair back into a ponytail to play - did I mention I need to go out and purchase a hairbrush?  Where does one do that?).  I completely ( Read more... )

42% gay? I think now! supersteph May 10 2008, 01:53:20 UTC
Now,I have to stand up for the one with kids. They could still be gay, you know! And maybe it was their girlfriends who bought them the rings?!? I'm really trying here:)

Hairbrush: Walmart. The only true place to buy a hairbrush. If you have no Walmart, you may have to move. May I suggest the south? We have lots of indoor soccer and outdoor softball and running groups COMPLETELY filled with lesbians. FILLED!

I think someone put something in the water up there. Or all the lesbians moved to the only true place in the world. The South. Yee-haw!
::flys Dixie flag::
::laughs at self for first typing "flies"::
::regrets admitting this::

Also? You need to post a picture of you with your hair pulled back. I'll bet you're hotter than usual like that. My sexy brain told me to say that.

You never know, where I grew up, there were these once-a-month women's dances filled to the rooftops with women you would never see anywhere else in town, dancing and smooching each other, holding hands, etc. etc. etc. Turns out they were married women from the rural towns around the area, living double lives! And seriously, I mean it was well known that there was a major population of people coming to the city to live the queer part of their lives for one night a month. So... who knows? Maybe soccer is like the all-women's dance.

Or something.

Now who's the one that's optimistic and full of faith in humanity? ;-)

Actually a lot of people found it really annoying that the once-a-month lesbians kind of ruled the roost at these events, leaving the full-time lesbians to stew with their rum and cokes in the corners. I wasn't annoyed, though, because I hardly ever went to those dances and I also figured, if you have only the one night in a month to wave your freak flag, wave it, right?

You're right; I do have faith in humanity and shit. Oy. ::fails at cynical::

I spent all day delivering stuff around Decatur today and I stopped at Publix for lunch. (sushi, it was gross, thats a whole 'nother story) Decatur, or Dick-Hater as its called here, is known for being a sort of gay haven. And it was FULL of couples holding hands and people wearing assorted gay-affiliation shirts and I was, well.... surprised. Where did these people come from? Why are they not in Canton? And as newly elected mayor, I intend to investigate these matters and correct them forthrightly! I'm kidding. I'm not running for anything. Damnit. But if I was, I'd hold an all-womans dance every week.

Please don't think I don't know that lesbians can have kids or that there's anything wrong with them. Kids. Or the lesbians who have them.

Somehow I think 'flies Dixie flag' is more appropriate. :p

Dunno about the hair pulled back pic. I'm not sure I have the right head shape to pull that off. Maybe I'll post and let people judge.

ROFL! I *so* didn't mean it that way. And you have better gaydar than me (I really hate that word). Though I'm getting better. Turns out there *is* a secret code. It goes like this:
- sees hot woman
-scans up and down finished with a quiet smile after initial eye contact is made
-smile or blush in return? GAY! SCORE!
-nervous laughter with rush to exit? not gay. no score.
-rinse and repeat. Wait, thats not part of it. Or is it? heh.

You have the right head shape. Trust me. Now get out the camera and posty posty.......

You know what? I'm starting to sound like the creepy online stalker people. I'm really not hitting on you.
::waits for initial eye contact to start scanning::

Haha on the flies dixie flag. I'll have to post the tattered "Heritage Not Hate" flag picture from the store across the street. They say they sell videos. I wonder what kind?

Call it lesbo-dar. Yes, Decatur. You know I had been to Decatur years ago, and I confess before I moved there, I did think all of Georgia was like that. And yes, Canton isn't quite. I've never been more scared in my life than in the midst of those scary moms at the bus stop.

The videos from that store cannot be good!

Alright, lesbo-dar is even worse. I'll also never walk into that store. Ever.

The scary moms? Elizabeth and Heather. My evil infiltration plan is 42% complete. And its not so evil and has given me about three total hours of free babysitting. W00t!
