i can handle anything even if i can't handle you

Well nothing much going on lately. There was a book signing at the store, no one famous. This guy who had written a historical fiction about WWII, he is a professor at Embry Riddle and former Air Force so I guess it made sense to bring him here. But I felt kind of bad he only sold 10 books. That was 10 more than he might have sold I guess, but they really should have put him in the main store where he would have gotten more exposure. Way to fuck it up AAFES, lol.

I'm ok with work but it's basically something that stands in the way of the things I'd rather be doing. Which is well... anything. What I don't understand is why someone I work with who only works 20 hours a week (5 hour days, 4 days a week) needs weekends off. Not like this person particularly overexerts themself at work either. =/ If I worked 5 hour days I certainly wouldn't bitch about working weekends, this person comes in at 7AM and is gone by noon. x_x rrgh sorry for harping but I just don't understand it. On the plus side, my idiot supervisor is gone for two blissful weeks. Productivity will no doubt soar. They are off to Norway and I hope Norway keeps this individual. Here's a scenario which will illustrate this person's... lack of common sense.

Amanda: *playing what is obviously a Nintendo DS*
Supervisor: *walks in, notices* You play games on that?!
Amanda: *stunned* Um... yaaah.
*inserts Bill Engvall "Here's your sign"*

Whatever, two weeks with no annoying micromanaging! /cheer

Watching Project Runway. I forgot how much I like this show.
