You can't fix stupid.
So I'm working in the book section at work and I overhear these few people discussing if "seen" is a word. And then they started trying to use it in context. Wow that was amusing.
They were completely serious, by the way. They were actually discussing this and I truly believe that these people were utterly and mind-blowingly serious. o_0 These were adults, and I presume whatever school they went to was taught by people who think that the textbook is just a suggestion... I mean, I'm not claiming to know more than everyone but at least I would never EVER ask a question like that! Jeez!
Then after work I went to the grocery store to get some things before I went home. As I'm leaving the store (through a door clearly marked on both sides OUT) this one woman, her husband and kids are standing at the other side of the door and she's seriously prying the door open trying to get through. Soon as it opened I said "You do realize this is the OUT door, right?" They didn't say anything, really I don't see how they could justify themselves lol. On a door with OUT labeled on it, and a sign saying it's an automatic door... if you walk up to it and it doesn't open... hmm maybe I'm trying to get through the wrong door!" But no she just pries it open like she knows what she's doing XD
