Yes we did it! I knew we could! I never doubted for a moment! Did anyone else think that one goal of Dempsey's wasn't offside though? candyshowers , did you see it? No matter, we are through!
I'll be gutted if Germany doesn't win tonight but at least Team USA is going through! ^__^ I want both my teams to get in the knock out stage so I am hoping Germany makes it. Germany probably will win their match but this as I have said before has been a very unpridictable World Cup.
Unfortunately England is through too, I didn't want them to win since I am anti England but whatever. I think most of us can agree though it's great cheating ass Slovenia didn't win.
In other news, French president Nicolas Sarkozy is meeting with Thierry Henry to figure out why France didn't win. I can imagine that conversation...
SARKOZY: So Thierry, why didn't we win?

I have to say, if the most important thing on the French political agenda is figuring out why they got kicked out in the group stage in the World Cup that's pretty sad. For a team that didn't deserve to be there in the first place, going out in the group stages really serves them right. You don't need the French president to figure that one out.
