the nightmare at work continues...the main difference being that instead of the temp worker i had my boss filling in for that person who went on vacation. my boss was just as bad if not worse than the temp but it remains to be seen if this will help her to gain a newfound respect and insight into the sort of conditions that i work under daily. lately some of our patients have been so, for lack of a better word, uncivilized not to mention excessively demanding. i see them rummaging feverishly through the leftovers of partially eaten meals from other patients hoping to take away anything they find fitting. all the while i wonder just how cognizant they are of the fact that their doctor placed calorie restrictions upon them and so if i tell our preparers to limit their portions they shouldn't take it to mean that i'm being stingy. and if i tell them that no, just b/c they're "poor" doesn't mean that their spouses can get a meal from us too. this is probably of no interest to anyone at all and so i guess i'm just hoping that by eviscerating all of this out, somehow everything will be better...i'm just really sick and tired of dealing with these situations on a daily basis and i think i'm going to crack sooon...
