Yo peeps, emerging from my self-inflicted exile to offer an article on the notorious six strikes rule about to be (or maybe already) implemented by the larger ISPs.

How To Geek is the only newsletter I look at just about every day, and I find things of interest at least once or twice a week.
Now, my comment about 6 strikes. I thought I would have a problem with it, however since I bought Supernatural the current season on Amazon Instant Video, I don't care any more.
I was downloading Person of Interest for a while, since it's not offered for the current season, only after the season ends, but I've managed to see the episodes on broadcast so again, I don't care.
I'm experimenting with Hulu Plus. They have way more obscure anime than I expected, but I'm not watching obscure anime any more so. I've yet to decide if Hulu+ is worth the cost. Time will no doubt tell.
In other news, what have I been doing? Working, mostly. I'm close to completing a major work project, in fact maybe the most major I've ever done, for a client who is a rarer than rare good guy and great to work for. Said client gave me a $10/hour rate increase. Gave me. Without my asking. As a consequence, I'm killing myself to get his project working, and it's technically just at the edge of my fingertips as far as capabilities. Not much else going on. Was sick this week. Happy the warm weather is coming back. I'm a hothouse flower, I don't thrive in cold or even cool temperatures.
