Happy SMAX!
Hi yall, just dropping a post to say happy belated Xmas to those who celebrate it (includes me). We had a pretty good one, as usual consisting of 
jupiterjones, my sister and me in the morning, then
jupiterjones headed out to her fambly and Sis and I went to see The Hobbit (she hadn't seen it, I had). We got back 5 minutes before
jupiterjones arrived, so good timing all around. Sis stayed laterish, as we all talked about various stuffs.
This year we invented SMAX, the cool new holiday which you can celebrate simultaneously with Christmas, but which can continue on and/or be anything you want it to be. I proclaim it to be our own Discordian holiday. SMAX was invented because I have these four ceramic Christmas letters, which were my grandmother's. She had nine letters actually, H A P P Y and X M A S, but the H A P P Y got disappeared somewhere along the way before I got the XMAS from my aunt. The letters are hollow, ceramic, pretty green holly motif, and they support candles, two per letter except for the A, but I don't use the candles, too much danger of fire when kitty knocks them off the shelf. I put them out as some of my decorations, along with my ceramic Santas which are tealight holders.
For some reason this year I had the urge to rearrange the letters, which I told to
jupiterjones, without actually doing it, but it became a great joke for some reason and the next thing we were all declaring "Happy SMAX!" right left and center, and laughing our heads off.
Peculiar really. ;)
