hey hey!
wow, erica's really happy. i feel sooo relaxed since school has let out, and i have done oh so many wonderful things since then. the last day of school, tuesday, i got my hair cut. it looks EXACTLY the same, it is ridiculous. but hey- i bought this fabbbbulous new shampoo [mango/coconut] there, and it is orgasmic. wednesday was really fun. hil and i got manicures and pedicures, then katie and rudds met up with us at my house. we drove to the mall and went to sephora to do our makeup, which was really grand, but quite embarassing for me. you see, i managed to knock down an entire stand of jessica simpsons "Delicious" brand perfumes [which are quite expensive, i'll have you know] it was mortifying. then we all met up with the guys [chris, joe, john, carlos, leighton] at ruby tuesdays for dinner. we were stupid and didn't know how much to tip, and ended up leaving our waitress like no money. oops. [moral: this is why you don't skip math kids.] then our whole posse went to the arcade--> i schooled zach in skeeball. then we walked over to the carnival/fair outside which was quite the blast. we rode many rides, me gamed many games. to sum up the experience in a few words: we came, we saw, we conquered.
one of the funnier events in the evening was when we were playing one of those games where you shoot water at the targets-- and the guy working there was befriending potter,nelson, and leighton. somehow it came up that they played football and the game guy had a conversation with zach.
Game guy: so do you play football?
Zach: [beaming with pride] why yes
Game guy: really? you strike me as the "water boy" kind of fellow.
though i found it humerous, i was shocked at the behavior of this game guy. eh, what can you say. carnies. i actually got a little sick after going on some of the dizzier rides, so i had to sit down for a few minutes. reader, fear not, because i must inform you that i am not weak, and i recovered quickly. so then we departed [i wont ever see carlos or leighton again. sadness.] and the girls slept over my house. we watched 'secret window', which was really good. rahh, i loved it. went to bed at 4 and woke up at 11:45. poor rudds had to leave before 9 because she had some camp training thing. i was asleep and she didnt want to wake me up, so she just left and i got really sad because i dont know if i'll see her again before she moves and i depart for camp. at least she'll be in ridgefield, so it's not like i wont see her... but still. today i had a doctors appointment [no shots!] and went to target. got the franz ferdinand cd, and i regret to inform you that it sucks. big time. but the "take me out" song is sooo good, so i don't mind. then i went to see "the stepford wives" with hilary at loews. it was really funny/eery. i liked it a lot. there were a lot of parts i laughed at, surprisingly [i thought it would be more of an intense/serious movie]. my plans for tommorow are as follows: go to the mall with hilary, have chris over at night. quite the busy week. sunday i leave for camp, so i honestly don't think i'll get a chance to write another entry before i leave. so you all must write me at camp!! i need letters or else i get lonely =( i'll be there from sunday, june 27 to saturday, july 17. and my address will be:
