hey hey!
yeah, i have so many projects i should be doing now, but i couldn't resist writing an entry because i havent all weekend. let me give you the scoop on the past few days...

Friday-- I had Chris over and it twas fun. We watched "They" which was a somewhat scary movie. i jumped at some parts. but the monsters looked really fake, so i guess it wasnt that freaky. haha- i challenged him to some board games before his dad came to pick him up. let me tell you, i am not one to lose a board game without a battle.

Saturday-- Early morning my family left for "Hyde Park" in new york state to meet up with my cousins and their parents, and my other uncle and his wife [both sets from my dads side]. we met for a picnic lunch at this really nice park area. it was sweet because ben started chasing this random chubby chinese boy flying a kite and trying to dance with him. i video taped it, and my dad got really mad when he saw it. but let me tell you, it was piss-your-pants-funny. we took paddle boats on this lake, and since ben and i couldn't steer and it was windy, we ended up crashing into everything. but we did come across this older couple making out. it was rather gross. Then we went to our hotel to drop off our suitcases. after, we went out for dinner. We went to this place where i had delishy salmon. we walked to a movie theater next door when we were done and saw "the day after tommorow." it was really good, except incredibly unrealistic. like jake gylenhaal is going to get sick from being in cold water so the girl he happens to obsess over grabs him all sexually and is like "i'll keep you warm... [wink wink] with my body heat." and also when the world is about to end, it is a new ice age- theres 15 feet of snow, hail the size of tennis balls and jakes dad is all like "i'm going to travel to new york and save our son. i made him a promise and i'm going to keep it" so he takes a truck and 2 of his friends to go save jake. his truck breaks down in philadelphia, so logically he walks in snow shoes to new york city?? he makes it, of course. my favorite scene was when jake saves the girl he likes life, by grabbing her in new york city traffic and out running a tidal wave. you know, because people run much faster than tidal waves? There's a really retarded part in the movie where this guy that also likes the same girl jake does, tells jake to "just tell her how you feel, man." first of all, the world is ending. do you think now would be a good time to tell her how you feel, man? No. what made the movie even better was that we had the most obnoxious people behind us. so after that incredible movie, we went back home and slept.

Sunday-- Slept in. Went to this place to go hiking like half an hour away. Mount Mohonk [good name, eh?]. It was hysterical because when we went to pay, the guy working there's name was Christopher. On the receipt it said "Cashier: Christ" (it got cut off) so my dad was all like "Wow, we really got our moneys worth kids. Look what we get to see today [pointing to the receipt]" for some reason our cashier, aka Christ, didn't find it all that amusing. but i definitely did. then we went to the Vanderbilt mansion to check it out. it was hugeeee. we threw ben's vortex around there, and got involved in a big family vortex game. unfortunately, i can't catch or throw- but i did get to tackle ben. so that was good. then we ate lunch and drove back to the hotel. walked to dairy queen [my first time ever going there.] it was great because we saw some hick having a fit at his wife to "Get me my cheesequake! I want my cheesequake!!" i have never seen any man in my life so intent on having a "cheesequake." Then again, i've never heard of a cheesequake. after, my dad took me for a two mile run. then we went out for dinner at this expensive seafood restaurant. somewhere in the dinner, ben got mad at me and jokingly threw a fork at my head. He ended up breaking my cousin's wine glass and shattering me with glass. what a smart kid. went home, and slept.

Monday-- went out for breakfast at a diner. then we had to go to Franklin Delano Roosevelt's [a famous president during the great depression] house [because my aunt had her heart set upon it. frankly, i would much rather do ANYTHING else] we took some tour through his house [lame.] all the rooms had ropes around them so you couldnt get in, so the furniture and stuff would be preserved. but ben had this bouncy ball and it got lose and rolled under the ropes and under the president's antique wheel chair! HAHAHAHA, i almost cried. so next time any of you happen to visit the FDR House, look for one of those red, 50 cents, bouncy balls. yeah, then we stopped by at my moms parents house on the way home. my grandpa bought me a star wars folder. he's the man.

and now i'm home-- about to start on my piles of homework and finals projects. hilary just called me and i'm so happy for her because she's going out with rawn [from greenich] now! YAYY!! i knew that would happen sooner or later. so yeah, alrighty i'm out.
