Nov 09, 2007 15:09

Yay! Actually I made it in time @,@ yeaaaah~ ♥
Actually, I still have a lot things to do and prepare for tomorrow, that's why sorry not to write about the whole gig and to that all people I met there! You all were awesome, I'm really please that I was able to see you again or to meet you for the first time, ne?
Pura-chan are our heroes!!! ^^v

Again, sorry for so many mistakes, but I really have to hurry and get ready... ^^"

Nya, anyway, I hope you can enjoy my 'report' on their latest gig in Germany! I still remember a lot, so it's going to be a BIG and LONG review, be prepared ^^" hahaha~

again, that's to Naka-Schatzi to help me out again, ne? Feel free to take you time, I know you have a LOT to do ^___^///

~~**~~

Pura-chan has been to Germany some days ago. Together with Uni, we arrived at Columbia Club at 8 o'clock in the morning. Some girls where already waiting for Pura, but we just sit down and tried to do some another stuff and I also had to 'end' our fanbook. Sadly I didn’t take pictures… I still don't know why… Maybe I was overexcited?! ^^"

After a long cold stay in the front of the hall, more and more people came and it turns dark little by little.
At 30 past 6 pm o'clock, most people stood up and hoped the security-staff to open the doors as soon as possible, even if it wasn't the right way of thinking. Because we had to wait for an hour, till doors get opened, officially.
After it turns half past 7 pm, security-staff arrived at the door talking and smiling, but they didn’t open the doors for a while. After 15 minutes have passed and the security finally opened the doors, the crowed got in, squeezing and hustling. After I got in, I was able to get the usual place in front of Tadashi.
After a LONG time waiting Plastic Tree to arrive on the stage, we tried to get noticed by Japanese staff-guys, who were busy with the guitars. But they didn't pay attention to us. But all we wanted was to give Pura a present, that's all…
Anyway… at 10 past 9 pm o'clock, the manager of R:ID came on stage and asked us, what we were doing here and what we are waiting for. After a small interruption by a fan from back rows with a comment 'There are some, who would like them to give a present!', I was able to hand over our fanbook and a small fanbox of a friend.
The women told us, that Plastic Tree came back to Berlin, because they really liked it here. After we screamed Plastic Tree's name 3 times, she left the stage with the present and we were excited what comes next.
Everybody was sure that Pura is going to be next, who enters the stage, but we ALL were wrong. After two staff-guys arrived, the audience began to laugh out loud. OK, that was kinda unfriendly... Sorry ^^"

At this moment, the background music has stopped and an intro from their World Tour (in Japan on 2006.07.02) sounded. I felt my heart jumping and going 'doki doki'. Even before I realised it, I saw a blond guy popping up in the blue light.
Tadashi! Our super-leader-sama! Ow~…! He looked awesome! He was wearing a black-red-striped chemise with white collar, block trousers with black braces and white shoes. His has was styled wildly again. I guess I had to make a deep breath, before I realised the whole situation I already was in. I know that a lot of people began to scream, but all I did, was following Tadashi with my gaze up to his place, screaming his name and switching suddenly to Akira.
'OMG!', that's what I was thinking after I saw him making few steps to the front and taking his red guitar. He is just too sexy! You were able to see his tattoos clearly, because he was wearing a black tank top and a grey sleeveless chemise after that, which was unbuttoned and which he was wearing at zero live, too. For lower part of the body he was wearing blue, close-fitting Jeans and black shoes. And again, his smile was just the best!
It was hard to figure out, when Bucchi came to the stage. He really was quick. Or I was just too busy with the other two guys, so I didn’t notice, when he stepped on the stage and went to his drumset. At least he had simple clothes on. A black T-Shirt, a grey jacket with a hood, on which I saw a blue print, which looked like two or three linked circles. Then he was wearing black Jeans and his beloved Sneakers.
After he sat down on his chair behind his drums, he looked at the audience shy and a little bit excited, for a longer while, stroke back his hair, took his drumsticks and was ready to begin. To be honest (it is the 3rd time seeing them live), I have to mention that he really looked tired (it's for sure because of his illness, because he fall sick some weeks before their performance! Poor guy! T.T)…
Because I'm used to the fact, that Tarou needs a lot of time to enter the stage, I didn't pay attention to the entry. The only one thing which made me look at him was a sudden change of the atmosphere. Arriving at the stage, he couldn't stay still at all and begin to move and draw circles with his fast movements. He had really nice clothes on. He was wearing black boots (which I even touched XD), black, tight-fitting trousers. For his upper body, Ryutarou was wearing a white T-Shirt and an airy, black tailcoat with a butterfly stitchery on the right site of it.

After all members were standing still on stage, only Tarou was moving from right to left and from left to right, as if he lost his orientation, the melody of the first song, 'Fujunbutsu' has began.
It was the very beginning of Pura rocking the booth. The 18-tracks-long setlist included mostly songs from their last two albums, 'Nega to Poji' and 'Chandelier'. Only the classic 'melancholic' and two b-side-tracks, 'Fuyu no Umi wa Yumi Kinchi de' and 'Souzai Riyuu' could please fans of their older songs.

The first title was chosen perfectly. In general I got the impression that the setlist was put together according to the taste of European fans.

With the first song, the band inspires the audience call on automatically to clap together with Tadashi to the rhythm in the end of the song. After two awesome songs from their current album were played, the classic 'melancholic' sounded and at the latest at this moment, the air was on fire.
At the end of 'melancholic'Tadashi stepped on the soundbox on the right and let fans cheer on him. That's what fans did! They put forth their hands. Some of them were able to touch him and a girl was even able to touch the strings of Tadashi's bass. First, a little surprised by the whole situation, Tadashi looked interested at the girl, smiled at her, nodded and let her play some last sounded beats. When he wanted to get back to the stage he got up and banged his head on the pretty low hanging soundbox above him. He grimaces painfully, touched the place were he hurt himself, rubbed it a little and then lay his hand on the corner of the soundbox, which cause him so much pain. Just some second later he walked back to his usual place on the stage.
As usual, the band made a break after the third song. While Tadashi went to amps behind him, turn his back to us and drank Volvic (German water, wich Japanese people like a lot), the other three guys were busy with something else. Hiroshi dried his face with a towel, which he 'ordered' from a staff-guy next to him while he was playing 'melancholic'. And took sips from a blue Volvic bottle (looks like it was another sort of the water). He did the same after nearly each single song they played, when he had time left for it (looks like his drinking-lust increases, when he's ill ^^").
Akira drank bit water and was smiling again. Sadly I didn't pay that much attention to him ^^" (sorry)
Ryutarou turn his back to us, and did the same as all of them. He drank water and dried his face. Of course, Tarou sweats a lot!
It become silent and fans began to scream bands single names. Mostly Ryutarou's name, of course. It was the same for all the breaks, which they did. Even if it was 'quiet' during the MCs, it was still hard to hear the other side's fans.
I tried to call every members name. First Tadashi's. His reaction was really cute. He still stood with his back to us, drinking (and whatever he did) and drying his face, he gave us his thumbs up and nodded. The second name I called was Akira's. He just smiled and continued his doing. After I called Ryutarou's name, what he was used to. I screamed out loud 'Bucchi, ganbatte!!!' and saw Tadashi he gave us thumbs up and nodded approvingly. Actually, Tarou stood directly in the front of Bucchi's drums, so it wasn’t able to see what exactly he was doing, but he gave us a little encore and played drums, what was more then pleasant! He's a great drummer!
After Ryutarou took place in front of his micro, everyone get quiet. It’s time for Ryutarou MC! He has began with 'Berlin!', 'Berlin!!' and once again 'BERLIN!!!', after each single time he stopped to hear us screaming and each single time calling Berlin's name, the usual soft and gentle voice become stronger and louder. After the crowed stopped screaming and was waiting for his next announcement, Ryutarou leaned a little bit forward and began to talk in the usual soft, a bit shy way. 'Guten Abend!' (Good evening!). The audience was a little bit confused. It was like nobody understood what he was saying, that's why he repeated the sentence once again and a low female voice from behind screamed out loud 'GUTEN ABEND!'. The whole hall went 'AAAAH!' and everyone greet Ryutarou back in German. Ryutarou repeated the same phrase in Japanese. 'Konbanwa!', and the hall repeated back again. At this moment, the rest of the band was ready with their break and everyone returned to their place.
So, it continues. After the two b-side tracks (mentioned below), I'm unsure about the right order of played song. It is really hard to remember, I'm really sorry.
Anyway, I try to sum up all the facts I can remember, which happened before the over-emotional 'Andro Metamorphose' as the last song before the break.
During the whole performance I was that busy watching Tadashi - he’s really a vampire - and Bucchi, that's I wasn't able to watch the other two guys that much. But actually Akira was the calm one. It's still strange for me to watch him live. Yes, I love him to death, his smile and the way he plays guitar, but he seems to be even more nervous overseas then he is at home, at Japan. I don't if I'm right, but it looks like Akira is the one who tries to be perfect, never making a mistake… I don’t know why, but that's the expression I got after seeing him live for the third time.
For Tarou… you really can mention a lot, talking about him and his energetic performance. Running on the stage, making fans go crazy, to explode, to scream and to sing with him. During the whole live, he was on both soundboxes. Three time on the left one (from his view) and twice on the right. As he got at the left box for the very first time, he made the same mistake as Tadashi does before. Maybe Tadashi should warn him before?! However! Being at soundbox, Ryutarou kneel down and it was able for fans to see him and his face clearly. His make-up was great, as usual, but his glance in a way empty. After he gave me a look for some seconds, I felt strange. I don't know why, maybe I was the only one, who felt this way?!
Anyway, being at soundbox, genuflected, he touched with his free hand, fans hands and made them scream even louder. No wonder, who does not want be touched by him?!
I think, during 'Souzai Riyuu' one of his strings broke, but he still played on his guitar till the songs ended and hand the guitar over to one of the staff-men (when he stood up to take Ryutarou's guitar, one of the fans called 'staff-guy!' and everyone began to laugh), who took care of it. After one song, Ryutarou got his guitar back and began to play on it. But actually it sounded really empty and I asked myself, if everything was alright with it… During his performance he amazed so many of us! He really is a great performer.
During one song, Ryutarou wanted to the right part of the stage, so he had to pass Tadashi. But suddenly, being behind him he stopped, lay his arm around Tadashi's shoulder and hugged him. Tadashi leaned his head on Ryutarou's shoulder, smiled and continues to play bass.
Tadashi was awesome! From the very beginning our super-leader was the best! After - nearly - each song, he throws one of his picks into the crowed. I think he 'lost' up to 10 in the very end of the concert.
Standing in front of him is very pleasant. Even if there was a strange atmosphere, and Tarou had a lot of problems with his guitar, he was the only one, who managed NOT to show, that something happened. He just enjoyed the whole show, his fans screaming his name, showing hearts and smiling at him. During one of the breaks, I called his name. He looked directly at me and even if I was really surprised, that he really pay attention no only me at that moment, I showed him a heart, which I formed by forefingers and thumbs. His reaction was super-cute. He began to smile and it looked to me, as if his smile is going to grow from the right to his left ear! Fabulous! During the whole gig, which he spent at the very front of the stage, he was bouncing and smiling! When he looked at you, suddenly something strange went through your whole body and you felt hot. His glare seems to be something special. When your eyes meet, you feel like melting and he is someone who knows the very deepest secret you have. After some of my favourite songs where played (and I really liked a LOT of them), I fold my hand together (like praying) and told 'Arigatou!', each single time Tadashi noticed it, he smiled and nodded back, as if he wanted to tell 'welcome!'.
Jumping REALLY high and leaning back, Tadashi - again - showed us his great body-condition! Respect!
After I saw Bucchi for the first time that tired sitting on his chair, I was thinking that he won’t make it through the whole concert. But I was SO wrong. Already during the very first song, Bucchi showed us, that he's a pro at things he does. And he really his. He smashed his drums with such a power that I though, the whole drumset will crash together in the next minute. During some of the songs, he stood up, hold one of his drums and hit one of high-hats hardly. Just amazing! He really did a great job, even being sick…!

Before the break they played their last song from their 'Nega to Poji' album, 'Andro Metamorphose'. This song was full of emotions. Even before the songs has ended, Ryutarou smashed his guitar on the floor (I think it even broke @,@) and left, without a word. Akira hand the guitar over to the staff-men, who stood next to him and followed Ryutarou's way. Only Tadashi and Bucchi stood at the stage, playing the song to the end. During last beats, Tadashi kneels down and lay his guitar down on the floor. He was that careful, that it looked like he was stroking it softly. Also he left without a word. The last one, who left the stage, was Bucchi because he was the one, who had to make the last beat. After smashing drums hardly for the last time, he just dropped both drumsticks on the floor and left.

After some minutes and loud cries for more, Plastic Tree entered the stage for the last time, without changing into new outfits, this evening. Everyone took his place and the first encore song, the ballad, 'Spica' began. Actually this song isn't that famous with fans. That makes me wonder, why they play this song that often, but OK. The next encore was my most favourite song, 'hate.red,dip.it' and as always, one of the songs, Pura loves to perform and it wasn't hard to figure it out. Ryutarou began to dance in a strange, but individual way, he always does. It may sound strange, but I really think that exactly THIS dance fits this song best. Everyone was enjoying this song, dancing and bouncing. Fans head-bang to the heavy beat of the song. After this song was over, the end has come…
With 'Makka na Ito' as last song, it was the first time, Plastic Tree to end their concert in Germany. It was really new, but I was and am really content with the choice.
Actually, the choice has a history behind. After their gig in Bonn (Germany) in summer 2007, they comment on the expressions they got, in SHOCKwave.
Bucchi told, that 'Makka na Ito' was the song, which was the most memorable one. Maybe you wonder why, but it has a really simple answer. After Plastic Tree played this song in the middle of the concert, fans were singing together with them. 'Sayonara, anata ga suki de…♪' … So I think it's the reason why they choose this song as the last one!
At the very beginning of the song, Akira missed the very start of the song, so Bucchi wasn't within it, that's why they have to restart it again.
That moment was kinda cute. I called Akira 'Naka-chan' (I'm kinda used call him this way ^^"), and Bucchi looked at our site, as if he was looking for the one, who called Akira that way. Bucchi had such a cute expression at this moment, it was really loveable. (hihi))
While singing, Tarou showed pinkie to us, which symbolizes a part of Makka na Ito (actually, 'Makka na Ito', is a string, which links two people together with both people's pinkie). It was kinda really cute!
After the song has ended, I realised that it was the end, but while doing so, I didn't saw Akira leaving the stage (he's so quick @,@). Bucchi left the stage as the second one, with 'Danke schön!' (German for: 'Thank you very much!' his pronunciation was great and it sounded sooo~ cute *__*). But before leaving, he stepped to the front, and throw his drumsticks one to the right and the other one to the left... then he tried to be near to fans and then he was about to fall down (looks like he was really excited). Then, he left the stage with a cute smile on his face. Tadashi follows him with a soft 'Danke!' (German for: 'Thank You!').
The one who stayed at the stage was Ryutarou, waving and smiling at fans. After some minutes also he left the stage, with 'Danke, Berlin!'.

To add a small comment…
The concert was really great, even if there were some misunderstanding. During encore, some of fans mentioned, that Bucchi was crying. To be honest, I tried to pay that much attention to him, as much as I only could, and all I saw was: After he got some strands of hair into his right eye (it looked like, while moving, his hair just stick next to his eye and worried him a little bit… ^^"), so he shock his head several time, what doesn't really help him. Maybe that's why some of people, who stood more far away or at least at Akira's site, mistook it for fighting back his tears…?!
Anyway, to me the concert was really awesome and even there were some problems with guitars, I still hope that guys had fun over here and could enjoy the show, even WITH difficulties!
We just LOVE you, Plastic Tree and hope to welcome you back in Germany by next years!
