“But what about Naruto?” Sakura thought. The kunoichi frowned and guilt swelled inside her chest. By having Sasuke take responsibility for this mess meant that he had to break up with Naruto. How will Naruto handle it? How is Sasuke even handling it right now? Sakura asked herself many questions about her two teammates. No one ever thought that they would break up. Even Kakashi predicted them to marry in a few years. Sakura sighed.
“It’s better not to think of any of this right now...” Her green eyes gave off a glint that had not been seen since her childhood. “Sasuke-kun proposed...”

Behind the pink door to Sakura’s bedroom, the Haruno wife stood still with her mouth open in shock. She had overheard most of Sasuke’s and Sakura’s conversation. The mother was confused for a bit when Sasuke stated that he would take care of Sakura. Now hearing Sakura’s dreamy sigh and comment things were starting to click together. Sasuke’s disappearance from Naruto’s life the past few days, Naruto moping around the village, and Sakura’s sickness... The house wife was left with her mouth wide open in shock. She quickly went to find her husband and break the news.
