I am so mad right now, I want to find something breakable and smash it!
Intuit rant
I just found out the Intuit "had a problem with their billing in the first part of February", and is only now completing the charge process for my having used TurboTax to file my taxes. The problem with this is that I am, right now, on a very tight budget and thought that charge had already processes. So I am $34.90 dollars short of what I thought was there.
This is the final straw.
- They can't be bothered to have a version of Quicken or Quickbooks for Linux.
- They can't be bothered to have a version of TurboTax for Linux.
- Their web version will only run in IE or Netscape, you can't use Mozilla Since I filed in February, they seem to have fixed things so that you can now access the Web version using Mozilla, so I can't complain about that aspect of the software.
- They have "software problems" with their billing system and can't be bothered to notify the customers effected.
Yes, I am partly to blame for this problem, I should have noticed that the billing had not been completed last month. But that does NOT justify their apparent cavalier attitude toward the problem. If you have a problem with your billing system you should notify the people you're billing. They sure as hell would have notified me if the charge had bounced!
