[Amy's sitting down in front of the datapad, resting her chin on her hand] I've been thinking. It seems like a lot of the people who've been brought here are Jedi - or Force users, whatever - or have special powers, or are starfighter pilots or something else that's awesome and cool. And, okay, I'm a little jealous, because it would've been cool to be a Jedi and run around with a lightsaber and all. But, thing is, all these stories teach us that you've got to be special to save the world, and that's not how things are at all, is it?

's like...Lord of the Rings or something. All the awesome elves and wizards and Viggo Mortensen can't do anything without Frodo there to throw the ring into the volcano. [not that Amy saw the films solely for the eyecandy or anything] Sometimes, it's all down to ordinary people being ordinary. Sometimes, you've got to remind the heroes what normal people are like.

I don't know, really, it's just...people like me have got to be here for some reason, right? [she shrugs] I suppose it could've been an accident, but all of this seems too deliberate to me. [wryly] Especially with the gold bikinis and all.
