[He shakes his head, straightening] This is a general announcement for the Republic Military. We’re shipping out within the week, so those of you who’ve been drafted or enlisted should make use of the next twenty four hours to make your preparations. If you haven’t been drafted or taken the opportunity to enlist, the Military would like me to notify you that they are still accepting volunteers.
Those of you who’ve been drafted, you’ll be getting the results of your aptitude tests* back before we ship out, along with further instructions as to where they heck we’re put you. Your Captains will be in contact with further details, but I thought I’d take this opportunity to give you a heads up.
Beyond that, all ships that are not authorised by the Republic military are grounded until further notice. If you cannot be identified, you will be shot down. We’re not taking any chances with this one, folks.

*OOC:SO WE KIND OF FAIL and no aptitude tests were mentioned ICly due to the holiday period and one of us losing her internet access for a few weeks, but these would have been fairly routine tests occurring soon after the draft took place! Physical tests and also personality/IQ tests would have taken a few hours to complete over the course of a day - look out for a mod post for more details on how things are going to work OOCly!]
