Of course, one might not be able to catch that immediately, save that everything in the droid's backdrop is a blur of lights, colors and sound

[It might not have been very long, but Artoo knows a pained expression when he sees it. Whoops. Poor kid.

Once he's not dodging traffic, he sends a quick message.]

[Artoo wonders if the lack of a response is a good thing or not, but he's still too frazzled to really be too concerned about it. Well, if he comes across the kid again, he suppose he'll find out then.]

Ya said somethin' about navigations being shot. So I figured ya needed some fuckin' parts to replace them.

[Chewie hasn't got much to say about the Undercity, but he does rumble agreement about the piece of junk comment. It's hard working with all this ancient tech :/]

[No kidding! He's glad someone understands his sentiment. Of course, the downside to being the most advanced droid design in the city is that now and then you get a lot of unwanted attention. ...and attempted droid-napping such as this, all of which Artoo is only too happy to complain about to someone he knows!]

[Chewie nods. It makes sense people would want 'the newest' droid model. More so if it's the only one. So he offers his condolences.]

[Haha, the old new droid. If it wasn't such a problem Artoo might find it funny. He might laugh about it later- after all, he's jacked the droid-nappers' speeder but it's their fault for not knowing his systems would kick in and they'd have a bitter astromech with an attitude left unattended.

In any case, he's en route back to more familiar territory now that he had coordinates to use as a reference point, this of which he informs Chewbacca with a slightly less annoyed warbling. He'll be glad once he gets to a docking bay and out of this thing, though he's surprised it's managed to hold up.]

[Ugh, Jawas. Such weren't the culprit this time, but it had been no less enjoyable an experience, and one that he could have certainly done without. Artoo wouldn't be surprised if it had been the same Rodians that had tried nabbing him during the riots. He gives an electronic sigh.]

Overall systems appear functional. I haven't done an extensive check yet since I was kind of in a hurry to get away from that area._
