Because it isn't death. Zekk's merely gone back the regular course of his life. It's happened to him one before, and he returned, five years older. He could return again. Maybe an old man this time. [His eyes smile at the tiny joke, trying to add some levity to the situation. He feels... resigned to it, now that Jaina's left. It only makes sense to him that Zekk would follow her, somehow, impossibly]

[Luke's finding it cold - he's still not acclimated that well to how cold this planet is compared to Tatooine, and anyway it's local winter - so he's wrapped up in a gray overrobe that looks kind of big for him. He didn't take the hideous glorious striped overrobe this time. Doesn't feel like bright colors today.]

[Jacen offers him a very small smile and nod of his head, lightly brushing a hand against Luke's shoulder to turn him in the direction they'll be heading. He's wearing civilian clothes himself, long white sleeves and dark brown pants with boots, making him look distinctly Corellian today.]

[Luke's hands go into his pockets. He half wishes he'd brought his laser rifle just to have the weight of it, but he can't exactly carry that thing concealed.]

[He'll fall easily into walking almost alongside, half a step behind.]

It's fine. Back home - [he misses home, as much as he hated it when he was there] I had to walk to all the vaporators not far enough to need a speeder. It's harder in the suns.
