[There's a contemplative look on Catty's face when she turns the feed on. She's alone on the beach at the moment, datapad resting on her knees. And yeah. She's wearing a bikini. :'| Enjoy the view, and a few of the scars from the torture.

Even though she has the feed on, she doesn't say anything at first, just sort of stares off at the water.

Okay. Not everyone. [Flipping the datapad back over and wrinkling her nose.] But you know what I mean.

[He smiles at her] You're cute when you do that.

I know what you mean. I guess those people have important things they need to do back home. I have important things not to do back home.

[Okay, back into the sand it goes.] I'm trying to be serious here.

Yeah, I don't fault them for that at all.

[YOU'RE GOING TO LIKE LOOKING ONE DAY, LUKE. IT'S JUST NATURE. But, Catty catches the eye averting and when she picks the datapad up, she makes sure to position it so that he's seeing mostly her face.]

Yeah, I've been here since... The first large influx of people, I guess.

[HE KIND OF DOES ALREADY but it's really, really rude so he's glad she positions it right. Though... bare shoulders. Well that's not so bad and he keeps catching himself before it can turn into staring.]

- I [focus!] Huh. Was it different then? Was there a first Outworlder, telling people what happened, or did the Jedi do that...?

There were a few here, people who had been around months before we came.

[She's looking pensive, the inside of the Normandy visible behind her] That's...not something I've considered, before. I suppose I ought to, all things considered. [a sigh] I don't know what I want from this place, any more.

[a beat] You're still on Mon Cal? How did the meeting go?

There's a lot of things to consider about getting out of here. [:/]

Sunny beaches and all. I'm working on my tan. [She really is.] It was a meeting.

You're telling me. I tend to swing back and forth on the matter, really. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for wanting to stay here, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays for leaving, and Sunday switches on a weekly basis. [She rolls her eyes] Or it would, if the weeks were normal here.

[a smile] I can see that. I almost wish I'd gone with you. Only without the meeting part, I think.

You even have a whole schedule laid out for you. [All the amusement.] Of course you would.

Yeah, you're looking a little pale yourself. You need to get out into some real weather.

[Axel appears to think seriously about this for a long moment.] You know, I don't know. Never really thought about it.

Not that it really matters, in the end. Unless someone we know shows up from after that point, we'll never find out. [shrugs]

I don't think a lot of people really have. Maybe because they do have people here from their own worlds. Loners like us don't seem to get that help, huh? [She shrugs too.]

Maybe. That Shepard lady seems to have an entire shipload of people from her universe, though, and it only seems to complicate things for her. So maybe we should be grateful to be on our own.

For the time being, anyway. Never know who's gonna fall out of the proverbial sky next around here.

I don't know, she seems to be enjoying them around. [A sigh.]

I'm not too eager for anyone I know to show up. They're better off not coming here.

I was just talking about this. I mean, I get that Revan is supposed to be pretty powerful. I just... think about the number of people who are here, from different worlds, and different points in time?

You mean to tell me this guy is so powerful that he can stop all those worlds, all at the same time, for an indefinite amount of time?

What if instead it's just the whole pulling us out and putting us back into our world at the exact same point we were taken? Where all of these months and years only take a fraction of a second of time in our own worlds.

Maybe we're just all from different dimensions? Even people who know each other, maybe... [She groans.] There is too much thinking involved in this vacation.

He's powerful enough. Bringing back the dead. Pulling us here. [There's a pause as Catty thinks about that.] It could be that we're just thinking time stops. We're giving Revan more credit than he deserves, then, and it's not like he's going to stop us from thinking that way.

That could be his plan. Scare us all into thinking he's that powerful? I mean, isn't that the whole thing with faith giving people the power. You believe something long enough and it's true.

I mean, do we even know what today's date is?

[pathtosacrifice]

I'd agree with you if there was another explanation for the dead being spit back to life, either when they arrive here or when they end up taking a bullet in the back, but there isn't. And all we can do is rely on Revan having that power. Which... probably isn't good, I guess.

[A pause.] The system runs differently here.
