[She eyes Leia. Young. Pretty. Vaguely reminds her of someone she saw in a movie once. She's not fond of the idea of Rory near this woman. Not when swimsuits were involved. Her tone is just a little cold when she speaks. At least Leia knows Amy is his wife.]
More accurately, he was teaching a good friend of mine--Luke [best to mention very quickly that said friends was not also a girl]--and they let me join in, seeing as I don't know how to swim either. He speaks very highly of you. And very often.
[She pauses. She almost decides to just cut off communication, but really, Leia's been pretty nice about everything. Being new here and all, she figures it's best not to go making enemies.]
So, how'd the lessons go, then? I take it no one drowned? [She grins.]
[Leia grins] Not yet, no. Learned how to breathe out under the water without choking, at any rate. My friend Luke's having more trouble. He comes from a desert planet, he can't really cope with the idea of a pool yet.
