[Wrex slowly sits up from the bed he's been placed on, completely 'naked', his
natural armored plating showing as clearly as the bright red crest on his head. He looks pissed. Then again, krogan generally don't look happy a good portion of the time.]
Well this is new.
[And most definitely not the nuclear winter-worn krogan homeworld Tuchanka.

"New" doesn't begin to explain it.

You're telling me. Care to explain what 'new' entails, then? [Aleena.]

I'll send you the information. In essence, it is a kidnapping. And a rather spectacular one no less.
[A few clicks, and your datapad stands to receive the files she got from Legion -amended some by Aria's own research.]

How long you been here? You don't seem too surprised to see me here.
[This different dimension thing is still making his head spin with the possibilities. No more krogan, no more genophage, no more Reapers?]
Reply
About two weeks. And no. The commander's acquaintances has been showing up left and right. I say it is about time Revan set his sights on ones who can carry their own weight in a war.
[A pause,]
Last I heard, you were no longer running with the commander--after she had her little death and resurrection stunt and all that?
Reply
[He's also well aware of just how hard it is to kill you, Aleena.]
You heard right. Saving the galaxy takes a lot out of you. [He laughs a bit at this. The credit goes to Shepard on that one.] I left Shepard and headed back to Tuchanka. Someone has to knock some sense into the krogan.
[His lips thin a bit, expression unreadable.]
Might as well be me.
[Time to change the subject.]
What about you? You look good.
[You look like an even bigger hardass than before, if that's even possible.]

[A small but wicked and amused little smile, here]
Rest assured that universe offers the same amount of exchangeable credits, ammunition, and weapons; as we're both used to. If of a different model. Somehow, there are no element zero and no mass effect cores to speak of. Yet if it works, it works.
[She smiles again, a true Mona Lisa smile indeed.]
Might as well. You always were unusually smart and resourceful for a Krogan.
[Teasing teasing ♥ but still a compliment, albeit wrapped in a bit of an insult. You know how it is. ...And a bigger hardass? You bet'cha.]
Oh, nothing quite as grand in plan as your effort at home--Set out to find a bit of stability as a change after all that time as a mercenary. I suppose even my wild maiden years had to end eventually. And I always wanted to call myself queen of something... and a, ah--let's call it a trade empire, is as well as anything.
[Wide smile~ And a pause. It is good to see a formidable foe and friend again, Wrex. Good peed in this new universe. Perhaps ( ... )

[Wrex looks down at his arm, wishing more than ever that he had a damn gun.] Good to hear, but my amp is gone. Yours too?
[And the old krogan is used to snide remarks like that. Particularly from you.]
And you always were hard to kill, for an asari.
[Is that fondness in his voice? No, of course not.]
Heard through the extranet an asari decided to take over Omega and claim it all for herself - always remembered you spouting your eagerness for conquering the universe. Omega's a good place to start as any, I suppose.
[He nods, red eyes gleaming.]
Likewise, Aleena. Don't suppose they have Ryncol in this place, do they.
Reply
[A thoughtful pause. Whether to elaborate on the fact she doesn't quite need an amp as much as she thought she would... No. Not at the moment. Old habits die hard.]
It is better you ask Shepard how the Commander's human Biotics solved that particular setback, if they have done so.
[She laughs, amused at the banter and the memories]
I did, didn't I.
No Ryncol. This universe lacks plenty things that we know, but it does have a wider range of sapient species and cultures that takes part in galactic affairs.
[And here's where your datapad will ping once again, with new information: a map of nearby Coruscant, with an alley tavern marked out.]
Just a suggestion. Perhaps something similar to Ryncol.

[Only not.]
Heard Shepard turned female in this place. News to me.
[He still doesn't really believe it. Shepard had the smell of male all over him last he saw him on Tuchanka.]
Suppose I'll have to take a look around, then. Wouldn't want to leave you with all the advantage in this place.
[Oh hey, look at that.]
I'll take it. How about it - care to share a drink with this old krogan?
[You are one of... two people he would ever ask.]

[She waves the issue off as if it's casual and boring.]
Given the theory of how we ended up in this universe through displacement of time and space.. it's no big leap to assume there exists minor alterations or alternate dimensions to our own universe. All evidence says it's Commander Shepard regardless of size and form. Whether the commander looks as we remember him or her isn't all too relevant. And since this is not our Universe... there is little sense getting too bothered with the details.
Besides, I'm guessing Shepard's deeds remains as remarkable (for a human) yet the appearance might have improved since last you saw the commander.
[Smirking~]
I thought you'd never ask. But do put some clothes on, sweetheart. Smack one of the driods--gently, don't break the machines--around your apartment and demand clothes. They should have something.

[And that's all he says on the subject.]
Hn.
[He glances over at the entrance to his room, then back at the screen.]
Don't tell me you're getting squeamish in your old age, Aleena. [But yes, he will. The sooner he has another layer of armor wrapped around him, the better.]
Reply
Of course not. Feel free to parade down the streets naked, old friend. But don't tell me I didn't warn you when they mistake you for a runaway pet or beast of burden.
