[The feed flickers to life, to reveal a rather flustered looking young woman. Her face is flushed, and you will notice that the camera is not moving anywhere from her face.] Alright... Hi there. [She takes a breath, both nervous and excited.] My name is Jane Foster, and believe you me that I have some questions for anyone who can give me answers. [ ( Read more... )

[Hello... she looks familiar. Wasn't he just talking to her not long ago?

It's a moment, before he realizes that no, this isn't the newly arrived Senator Amidala, but another, evn more newly arrived woman... who happens to look virtually identical to her.

OK, first things first.]

You know, you're the third person in a the past few days to show up talking about 'Asgard'. But no, you're not. This is Coruscant. There should be a droid somewhere around that'll give you some clothes, by the way.

[She jumps a little.] Wait. What do you mean third person? [Finding actual clothes will be worried about in a moment.]

Well, generally it means that two other people have done it before you. [smartass Axel is a smartass] In this case, those two people would be a big, muscley blonde guy and a woman who seems to know him.

[Big muscly blond guy... Well, how many Asgardians could look like that?] Did the big guy happen to... yell a lot? And call himself Thor?

[Ok, so Thor's already had one major disappointment this morning with your facetwin showing up, Jane. But this time he hears the words 'Jane Foster' and there can't be TWO people with her face AND her name. By the time he's made it to his datapad, she's talking about Asgard, and that puts the rest of his doubts on a shelf.

So he'll just be over here. Grinning stupidly now. Unfortunately, he still doesn't know how to work this, so he just picks up the box and speaks into it with an authoritative command.]

I wish to speak to Jane! [This thing is so frustrating. :( He doesn't know if it's working, so he'll just shout into it]

Jane! Can you hear me?

[Excitement explodes in her stomach at the familiar shout. So much excitement that she nearly looses grip of her towel.]

Thor? [After all this time searching, could coming across him again really be so simple?] Thor, I can hear you! There's no need to yell.

[Success! Thor is a master of technology! Or.. something.]

Jane! [Oh right, less yelling. He can do that.] I cannot believe you are here as well. [You might not be able to see his smile, but it's obvious in his tone]

I can't believe you're here! [Who really cares about her presence at the moment? She's in space, and Thor is here too. This will probably be one of the greatest moments of her scientific life!

...and her love life?]

It's not that bad in space. Especially if you know someone like Thor, which I'm assuming you do, with the whole Asgard thing. [Dawn offers the nice new lady a reassuring smile.]

There's a robot somewhere around your room that will give you clothes if you ask for them. Don't be afraid or anything, they won't hurt you.

A robot. Right. [She just needs to calm down a little. As she's looking for the droid, she still feels the need to talk.] So, what's your name?

Just because there are incredibly well-muscled thunder gods crawling out of the woodwork now doesn't make it Asgard.

[She flushes slightly.] It was an honest question.

Well, I personally imagined Asgard to look more Vikingish. Not that I've ever been. I'm just saying.

Neither have I. Though the Vikings did imitate the behavior of Norse Gods. [Not that she's an expert or anything.]
