I have...something of a theory on what is going on here. Based off a few conversations that I've had with various members of the Alliance and some information from the Republic. Let me see if I can talk my way through this thing.
[She draws in a breath] At around the time of the hospital explosions, a number of scientists went missing. These explosions were blamed on us, so it follows that the kidnapping of these specialists would be, too. This plague is not something natural - if it was, I understand that the Force would be able to have some effect on it, or there would be some other natural weakness that could be exploited. The onset was too sudden and too...perfectly destructive to be a natural occurrence, so it stands to reason that the plague was constructed. It bears similarities to the darkspawn taint, creatures which are known to be from Outworlder homes. Thus far, all fingers point at us.
We, however, have proof that it was the Crimson Terror who caused those explosions, and for all intents and purposes certain sects of the Republic military agree with this theory. And considering the aims for the Crimson Terror, the idea that they are the ones who engineered this plague in order to pin it on us certainly fits. After all, we don't die - or when we do, we don't stay dead. How simple to pin the deaths of countless natives on us, demonise us further, and then sweep in with the cure and save everyone. At the very least, I hope that was the plan, because it would mean they have a cure, and I am currently in the possession of information that could lead us to them - and that cure.
[She sighs, shaking her head] I don't know. It does all seem rather stuck together, doesn't it? There are things I can't account for, like how the Sith got their hands on the cure. I don't believe they're the ones who created it, anyone who saw Revan's reaction to Telos being destroyed will understand why. But it's the best I can come up with, and what I need now is volunteers to follow the money trails, search the locations from the information we've obtained on Crimson Terror purchases and positions. Even if they don't have anything to do with this latest crisis, anything we can do to take the air out of their tires would be useful at this point. It's better than sitting around helplessly, if nothing else.

This may seem rather sudden, I know, but Admiral Saffron seemed to think you could help with this situation, and I think we can do more pooling our resources working together than trying to work separately. The Caterpillar Alliance is a group of Outworlders working together to help each other out, as well as improve our name in this galaxy and help those civilians who the Republic can't reach. If you have any questions about it, please don't hesitate to ask.
