That's possible. I'm still not entirely convinced Revan has a fraction of the control he claims.

Some of the evidence is incontrovertible. I watched Tenel Ka die, and I felt the death of my sister, only to have them both return.

Perhaps he can't control precisely who he brings here in the first place, but then it seems odd that so many of us would end up knowing others from our own worlds and times, or being connected in the ways we are.

The possibility of his desperation is far from comforting.
