Sorry, got busy and didn't update for 14.5 years.  In the intervening time I met my life partner,  got married, moved to Thailand, researched a mass protest movement there, became semi-fluent in Thai, returned to New York, had two wonderful children, got a job as a professor in New York, bought a home in Queens, published a book, and am overall

I was recording interesting urban soundscapes for you for a while, but that phone died and they all went away. I guess they weren't really that interesting or I would have backed them up?
