I have begun work on my thesis. However, before I get too far into writing it, I was wondering if you all could fill out a questionnaire. I promise that no one's names will be used and that none of the information will be further posted. Also, no names will be used in my thesis, just situations.

1. Has your family always had money and class?
No. My mother worked her way up.

2. If your status is newly acquired, how has the adjustment period gone for you?
There was no adjustment, my parents already had status when we I was born.

3. If your status is firmly entrenched, has the infusion of the nouveau riche helped or hindered your status?
I guess that doesn't apply with us me.

4. Has your family always had butlers? If newly acquired, please say how long you have had them for.
I'd prefer not to have them.

5. How do you feel about the butlers, in general?

6. If you could change one thing about being a person of status, what would it be and why?
Being looked at differently than normal people, without a ton of money at their hands.

7. If you could switch places with your butler for one day, would you? Why or why not?

Yes.
