I have begun work on my thesis. However, before I get too far into writing it, I was wondering if you all could fill out a questionnaire. I promise that no one's names will be used and that none of the information will be further posted. Also, no names will be used in my thesis, just situations.

1. Has your family always had money and class?
As far as I know, yes. Most certainly in my own and my parents' generation's lifetime.

2. If your status is newly acquired, how has the adjustment period gone for you?
Non-applicable.

3. If your status is firmly entrenched, has the infusion of the nouveau riche helped or hindered your status?
I can't say I think highly of them, but they certainly don't bother me.

4. Has your family always had butlers? If newly acquired, please say how long you have had them for.
I have always had servants to look after me.

5. How do you feel about the butlers, in general?
My servant is mine, just as anything else I own, to do with as I like. Likewise, other butlers are the responsibilities of other students.

6. If you could change one thing about being a person of status, what would it be and why?
I don't believe control of the business should be passed to the eldest son but to the most eligible child.

7. If you could switch places with your butler for one day, would you? Why or why not?
Of course not. Who would fetch things for me?

8. Have you ever held romantic feelings/sexual attraction for anyone outside of your class?
I consider myself a bit too practical for romance. Sexual attraction, of course.

9. If yes, have you held those romantic/sexual feelings in check?
