pana SKIAmachy.
Aah, my webcomic.
SKIAmachy. Pretty much the only thing keeping me drawing consistently. I think it's helped a lot in improving my art, since without it I'd no doubt be drawing a lot less. Mm, what else. The characters actually started out with RP -- over at
a_city_at_war, though they're all archetypes that I'd been experimenting with a few years before that. I spent some time ironing out the setting and glitches (for a while it was titled "INsomnia" and set in a dream-world), before solidifying the story. I launched it last March, so it should be nearing the one-year mark. I'm -- not sure how many people even read it, haha. At this point I'm sort of drawing it mostly out of stubbornness, so. Yeah.
Deadman Wonderland.
Haha, my pet series for quite some time. I first started reading only because the title seemed interesting, but after I realized that it was by Kataoka Jinsei and Kondou Kazuma, the team who did the Eureka Seven manga (whose art I absolutely adored), I started plowing through it. The setting was interesting, and I think Yoh was my favorite character for a while -- until I hit chapter 13 and the Scar Chain arc, where I met my new ~*~*~fandom crush~*~*~. I've been a little out of touch with the fandom since [ BIG SPOILER ], but I still have a fondness for it. And still RP it, obviously. The art for it is still gorgeousssssssss, I cannot deny this, and I read the new chapters these days keeping my eye on the photographer-character Ekou, since he looks interesting and perhaps my type. :|
Kazama Souji.
Kazama Souji from Battle Royale II. Let me preface this by saying: BRII was a terrible movie. I accept this. Sigh. -- but anyway. I still sort of fell in love with his character since the very first time I watched the movie, which was -- probably back when I was still in middle school. He was -- you know, the strong, stoic type that was vaguely handsome, and I was very stupid in my tastes back them. And then I forgot about the BR fandom for a while until it got rebooted for some reason. I then hunted down the novelization of the BRII movie, which focused a lot more on the terrorists (mainly through Saki) and the Wild seven, thus giving a lot more characterization/backstory fodder for Kazama. (
Relevant sections translated here, by yours truly.) I've played him on and off for a really really long time -- starting shortly after i started RP for the first time -- though I think
neo_rpg is the first place where he's ever gotten any substantial development. He's a character type that's really hard to get out and around, so it's been getting him all messed up at NG. :]
"GET OUT."
For some reason, this has become my standard internet response to when I'm really embarrassed and/or if someone is poking fun at me a lot. Not sure why. I never mean it seriously, but it's always a sort of an "oh my god i'm going to die get out D:" thing. Yeah. Idk. ):
Shota.
What. Why does this relate to me. :| Um. I don't actually like shota characters in most series, because they're almost all either a) immature and annoying or b) very cocky. Neither of which interest me much. I do play a few shotas on and off (Tackle/Tico, technically Iggy), but I think I very heavily lean towards the older characters, haa. -- Ah, I get mistaken for a shota sometimes, especially in Korea, but my mom said that it's probably because I dress boyishly and don't wear makeup. So I either get mistaken for a high school student or a dude. Oops.

See above.
The Lucifer and Biscuit Hammer.
Or more specifically:
Hoshi no Samidare: The Lucifer and Biscuit Hammer, a manga by Mizukami Satoshi. Go read it! It's an extremely fun series, with an interesting premise, and a storytelling style that balance serious drama with lighthearted gags really, really well. The art style is simplistic but also nice to look at it, and it's a series that I really enjoy -- the characters are all really enjoyable, too. I played Mikazuki [
psychrow ] from it for a while, though I think he'd be fun to pick up again sometime.
Moeblob.
Fffffff man, idk. I have moeblob anime, if that's what you're referring to. I watched one episode each of K-on! and Lucky Star, and both bored me out of my skull. I think moeblob characters are fun to draw a few times, but if they start becoming the central focus, the everything starts collapsing. (Though I can't deny that the Lucky Star opening is a great thing to parody, sigh.) -- uh yeah. Not sure how that relates to me, though. :I
Vargret.
Vargret is this magnificent gentleman, one of the many characters from Erementar Gerad. I sort of had my eye on him since he first appeared, since I cannot resist a man with a ginormous sniper rifle and a scar across his eye. I actually had to wait a lot before I got any backstory or solid character, but I think it was worth it, haha. Erementar Gerad's always been one of my favorite series purely on the basis of how GORGEOUS the art is. I heard the last chapter's going to be published soon though, sigh. Ah well. Either way -- I played Vargret as the chief police at NG for a while [
ardeinae ] and I constantly toy with the idea of bringing him back with a memory reboot. Maybe someday.
Kengamine Nagi.
So yeah, you might have heard about this character called
Kengamine Nagi that I totally obsessed over for a while. To be totally honest, he was partly what made me so engrossed with the Deadman Wonderland series for a while, because he is like all the things I find moe ever rolled into one. Neck-length scruffy dark hair, smiley face, scarf and geta. Constantly uses keigo, very polite, very friendly, slightly sheepish. Can kick ass when necessary. Traumatic past. And something that he's fighting for~*~*~. Aaaaand, of course -- a butt-ton of gay with Genkaku, who
vore has indulged me in so much in RPland, ungh. So -- yeah. I love love loved his character so much, and I was always really sad that the fandom never took off much because a small fandom has very few goodies to glee over. ): Ah, well. I've been RPing him for about an year and a half now, if I think about it, and it's been really fun, haha. And I've gotten way huger casts than I expected (I think between
neo_rpg and
absolute_hold I've seen at least one of every DMWL character ever). Mm. Yeah.
Also, because I've had this stuck in my head all evening:
