8 Days
So, my break lasted 8 days until things hit the fan to the point where I have to poke my nose in and kibosh stuff. Now, I'll admit I don't know everything of what all's going on, but I've heard enough.
Firstly and foremostly: Crossing out what I've said before, actually deleting... many of you are being asses about this. I know I haven't said much about what things are like, and that's because I always end up getting people whining about it. All of you ending up tearing into each other, showing a lack of ability to be civil, etc. I don't have any single party to blame as I'm looking over what logs I have, just that I'm rather disappointed in assumptions a lot of people.
Secondly, and tying into the above: Because of the sheer amount of headaches I've incurred dealing with what happens when people assume that the average Joe of Lucidia is akin to 21st century modernized european/american, I'm saying no more on players defining political entities. From SADIMP to player-driven nations, the Lucidia RP universe wasn't built with massive world-spanning player-driven plotlines in mind. I have no intention of modifying it to become such. There, if I even get the forums done at this rate, will be a forum which will be more for what you remember as The Dream and can handle such groups like you remember.
Thirdly, though still very importantly: Note the word "if" in that last sentance. I took this break in the hope of salvaging what was a rapidly eroding desire to even run this joint. If this desire erodes any further, I will most likely can the entire project.
