There are few things I will admit to simply not understanding. Fuji, of course, has been on that list since we began school together, but very few people aside from him are so genuinely incomprehensible. Despite how often Tezuka, Echizen, Kaidoh and others surpass my data - both on and off the courts - their basic motivations and reasoning follow understandable paths.
But that someone would be willing to support another person's child ... This makes no sense. She doesn't know the nature of my relationship with Kai Kaoru, but even then, her generosity concerning me is unimaginable. It makes as little sense as Fuji's apparent ability to communicate with the wind. And yet, there is actually a growing possibility that I will benefit from this.
