So I've finalized all my moving plans and dates, this has been a lot rougher then I imagined. I thought I would just be able to pack everything up and disappear as quickly as I came into this World - but that's just not happening. I never thought I have to call and stop services on all the utilities I pay for, finding a new store to work at and most importantly saying goodbye to loved ones. I know it's not really goodbye, but I also know it feels like that to them and me. A really good friend of mine, Matt, wrote me the sweetest message today and I just feel the need to post it.
"You have a lot to offer people, and you know that. I am so impressed with how strong you are, evident through your magazine, your web site, and yes, even the wrestling (but that's just a personal bonus). =) I've been thinking about just jumping in my car and driving to wherever, but you're doing it. Good for you, Corey. I'm sorry things didn't work out for you here, but life is too short to bitch about it. Go find yourself, or remember how good you are. I expect to get a full report on your adventures (and mis-adventutes) the NEXT time we talk!"
How sweet is that? Thank you a lot, Matt. It meant a lot to me.
So I'm leaving Rochester at the end of this month, August 31st. My bestfriend Rae is driving down to Florida with me and then staying a week or so to help me find an apartment, check out the hot spots and hopefully meet some hotties and party!
I can't wait, as much as I hate leaving Rochester behind - I am so looking forward to the exciting future.
