▐ ELABORATE
    ჻ HISTORY
Ginevra Molly Weasley was born to a family of pure-blood wizards and is the seventh child and only daughter of Arthur and Molly Weasley. She was always treasured, as all of Molly’s children were, especially since she was the daughter Molly craved. This by no means made Ginny a spoiled brat. While Molly tended to lean towards hovering and over-protectiveness, Ginny was always outspoken and never hesitated to make her views known. She loves her mother, always has, but considers Molly a bit too worried and protective of her children. Having six older brothers and being the only girl, Ginny was a bit used to roughhousing and teasing, and was the brunt of many jokes. She bore these and returned them gleefully, and did many things she would never tell them, such as taking their brooms out and flying them in turn since the age of six.

As soon as she was born, her parents took her every year to King’s Cross Station to see her brothers off to school and ever since Bill was accepted, she wanted to go to Hogwarts herself. When she was ten, she accompanied her family to the station as usual, where they met a nice young boy with black hair. She liked him immediately, even though she didn’t know who he was, but the second she found out, she wanted desperately to see him, but her mother said no. Ever since, she harbored a deep, burning crush for him and wouldn’t stop talking about him for the longest time. When he came to stay with her family the next year, she developed a habit of knocking things over whenever he entered a room, especially if he looked at her. She actually managed to let out a little of her true nature in Flourish and Blotts that year, when she stood up to Draco Malfoy for Harry. Throughout the course of her first year at Hogwarts, she poured her heart out to Tom Riddle’s diary, confessing that she was worried he would never look at her or care about her as more than just ‘Ron’s sister.’ When Harry saved her from the basilisk, she was extremely grateful, embarrassed, and ecstatic that he had done something so heroic for her.

Over the next couple of years, her crush on Harry only intensified, though she couldn’t really force herself to do anything about it. During her third year at Hogwarts, she and Hermione really started to hit it off as friends and Hermione told Ginny she needed to date other boys, so she would hopefully relax around Harry. When Neville asked her to go to the Yule Ball with him, she agreed, thinking that she wouldn’t be able to go otherwise, but when Harry asked her to go with him later, she was mortified by the fact that she had to turn him down… and she thought she’d lost her only chance with him. Still, she took Hermione’s advice and slowly she grew into herself so that she really could talk to Harry like a normal person.

Her fourth year rolled around and with it came Professor Umbridge, whom she heartily disliked, mostly for her treatment of Harry. During this year, she dated Michael Corner, which curbed her jealousy of Cho Chang, whom Harry was dating at the time. Ginny was one of the most involved members of the DA, Dumbledore’s Army, learned more than expected, showed her prowess at magic (which she had to have gotten from her mother, who was quite the accomplished witch), and always carried her communication Galleon with her in case a meeting time was set. This proved to be a good decision on the whole, as it was used even after the DA was disbanded. Ginny was also one of Luna’s only true friends, showing her intense loyalty and bravery in standing up for Luna against anyone who might speak against her.

During her fifth year, Ginny dated Dean Thomas, someone in Harry’s year. She also scored a position on the Gryffindor Quidditch Team once again, as she had proven her skills the previous year when Harry had been temporarily banned by Umbridge. This year was marked by her strength of character and support of her family and friends. She even ended the year as Harry Potter's girlfriend. Eventually, though, he broke up with her, something she’d been expecting since he was Harry Potter and she knew he had bigger and better things to do than stay at school while the Dark Lord was on the loose. She didn’t try to stop him, didn’t cry when he told her he was leaving her. She simply accepted his decision because it was all she could do. It was after this that she found herself in Nuadoria the first time, returning home after what felt like several months there.

Over the next year, she grew even stronger, being subjected to the Carrows mercilessly. She helped Neville and Luna terrorized their Death Eater "professors" by sneaking out at night and writing messages on the walls. They likely used the Room of Requirements to hold secret D.A. meetings during the year until Michael Corner was caught and tortured. After Luna was taken from the Hogwarts Express at Christmas, things quieted down a little. Ginny herself didn't return to school after Easter because her brother Ron had been caught traveling with Harry Potter. In order to preserve themselves, the entire family uprooted to their Aunt Muriel's, where they remained for the rest of the year. At the tail end of April, Harry Potter returned to Hogwarts. Once Ginny found out, she came with her family, much to the anger of her mother. For a while, she was forced to stay in the Room of Requirement, but once Harry said he needed the room empty, she left in a hurry and never looked back. During this time, she lost one of her brothers and it was a deep-seated blow that she's still trying to get over. She cared for countless others on the battlefield and it was while she was taking care of an older girl, she felt a dizzy spell, blacked out, and found herself back in Nuadoria.

    ჻ PERSONALITY
While she is kind and loyal to those she cares about, Ginny has a mean streak that shows itself to those she doesn’t like or those who are mean to people she likes, especially Harry. Most notably, she stood up to her friend Hermione in defense of Harry after the Sectumsempra spell incident. She rarely cries over anything, showing her strong demeanor, and when she gets upset and angry at someone, she can really lay it on them to the point of insulting hysterics, proven by her reaction to Ron’s craze when he walked in on her snogging Dean. An accomplished witch, like her mother, her best hex (and often-used) is the Bat-Bogey Hex, which gained her infamy and a seat in the Slug Club. Ginny’s other notable traits are her wit, humour, and acting skills. She knows just what to say to make people laugh, cheer them up, or make them believe what she’s saying.

She's proven to be strong in the face of adversity, persistent, protective of the other members, and unafraid. Battles don't scare her and she won't let anyone bully her or someone she cares about, no matter who or what they are. She’s learned to be sneaky from Fred and George; proper from Bill, Charlie, and Percy; a daredevil from Bill, Charlie, Fred, and George; and strong in the face of danger from all of her siblings. She's not very emotional, known for holding back tears in the face of bigger things. Ginny is loyal, brave, and unafraid in the face of danger. If someone needs her, such as the incident in the Ministry of Magic when she was fourteen and the battle in the middle of Hogwarts the next year, she will come running. Her biggest weakness is her love for Harry. She’s always harbored feelings for him and never gave up on the chance to date him, no matter what happened to either of them, and when her wish came true, she treasured the time they had together.

⇶ nuadoria specific
▐ WHAT ARE THEY BRINGING TO NUADORIA?:
The only major thing of note that Ginny would have on her person is her wand. She carries it with her wherever she goes, especially these days with He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named on the loose. One can never be too careful and carrying a wand is always a good safety measure.
And in one of her pockets, she carries with her the enchanted gold Galleon from the D.A.
▐ YOUR CHARACTER'S ELEMENT: Light
▐ WHAT IS THEIR GESTALT?: Her familiar is a pygmy puff
▐ HOW WILL THIS CHARACTER FIT INTO THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE GAME?: .Ginny is very strong and supportive. If there's someone in need, she'll be there to help. She's seen battle, both here before and at home, and she's not afraid to stand up for her friends and what she believes in. She'll be willing to find that magical way home, stop anything that needs stopping, and help out where she can. She's a powerful witch and also pretty smart, so she can figure things out when she needs to. She's also got a good sense of humour, which she won't mind using to lighten the mood when she needs to.

✔ THIRD PERSON SAMPLE:
Battle raged all around her. Ginny Weasley felt as though she'd been running on adrenaline for ages. All night. And she had. She'd been fighting for her life and the lives of so many others for hours. She was exhausted and all she wanted was for the whole war to be over so she could go home and rest and so that no one else would have to die for this cause, die fighting the Death Eaters.

Her mum had taken it hard. Ginny knew both of them had tear streaks down their cheeks, but now was not the time to sit around and cry about things they couldn't change. Now was the time to change what they could.

Ginny sighed a little more and tried her best to sooth the injured girl she was tending. "It's okay. It'll be all right, don't worry."

She was just in the middle of wrapping the girl's arm when she felt her head swim. Luckily for them both, she managed to get the bandage tied off before she fainted, thinking that it was just grand to get through half a battle and then faint while tying a bandage.

Waking up hand her cursing her luck even more.

At first, Ginny didn't recognise where she'd landed. She certainly wasn't at Hogwarts anymore. The floor was all wrong and she seemed to be outside rather than inside. She squinted as she pushed herself up and it was then that she heard the squeak by her ear. Sitting up, she frowned as she noticed the small purple ball of-

"You've got to be joking."

Alexander peeped at her and she sighed. Out of one battle and straight into another. Just her luck.

✔ FIRST PERSON SAMPLE: [voice]
You're joking. Please, someone tell me you're joking. [ She sighs wearily here. It's almost as though she's trying to avoid talking or thinking about something else. ] Just my luck, in the middle of battle here I get dragged home and in the middle of battle there I get dragged back here.

I hope most of the people I knew earlier are still here. I'm Ginny Weasley and it would seem I've returned. How long have I been gone? Did I miss anything huge happening?

[ She pauses again and thinks for a moment before adding on. ] And has anyone heard anything from Caim since I left?
