life in august
So strange stuff. I've been working like a dog but going out when I can. I've met some interesting folks. Last week I hung out with this kid, he's an orthodontist. He was cool. He's from Spain and speaks spanish... haha. He's working on his post grad here. I mean he talks with that spanish from spain and really fast so I had to make him slow down so I could understand. It was funny. He was funny... meh. Im sure we'll be great friends. I just enjoy listening to him talk.
Then there is this attorney, we're going out tomorrow. I met him while I was out hanging with Deidre. She was being loud and called him over. We started talking. Been talking since. He works for the DA office and shares my musical taste. He's got a bit of southern draw to his voice. As you see, been trying to stay away from those musicians. Though i've gotta say... I was out at the Randy Rogers show last week and a guy from their camp knew everything about me and wanted to hang. He seemed cool... besides the fact that he had piercings, tats and the whole nine yards. He came out and hung out with Deidre, Cori, Heather, Jeremy and me on Sunday. We talked about the biz... that kinda gets old after a while though. Meh.
I turned down a gig out in Florida to do a morning show. I dont see myself out there, but still felt awesome to have an offer.
