I've been really busy failing to get a job. St. Ides passionfruit is good, St. Ides Kiwi-Strawberry is bad.
On to more significant things.
Laura got here about two weeks ago, so we've been busy doing things like getting her a social security number and such, and then getting her a job, while I continue to fail miserably. I guess this confirms my stay-at-home-dad plan.
Laura worked for Cingular at Warped Tour on Wedensday, so I went, too, since it was a two hour drive each way. We got there at eight, but it didn't start 'til 11, so I was just hanging around outside. Then a guy was all "Hey, want to help me carry stuff in?" and I was all "uhh . . . sure." So then I got a VIP pass and got to wander around inside, which wasn't particularly exciting as all the booths were just setting up. But the guy was pretty cool. He and his assistant were from Hawaii. He had his own clothing line (Six Barrel Hooliguns) which rocked, but I had no money. I managed to see Silverstein, Atreyu, and Anguished Estate despite being horribly confused. In fairness, my brain was cooked; it was 114 out. Then we had to go early because Laura got sick from the heat, which was fine 'cause at that point I was pretty lonely anyways, having spent eight hours by myself. I managed to lose my cellphone and favorite hat in Atreyu's moshpit, where there were mean people who didn't understand that if someone falls down in the moshpit, you help them up, rather than kicking them. My shoulder is still sore. Also I am horribly, horribly sunburnt. We're talking lobster here. My face was fine up until that lost my hat thing.
Oh, I have a new kitten! She's named Nala (that may change). She's named af

I guess that was Nala saying hi. She's named after Simba's girlfriend from The Lion King, as she looks quite like a lion, though I think she may get stripes as she gets older. She's from a litter that Josh's girlfriend Beatriz had. Her favorite band seems to be Sugarcult (Nala's, not Beatriz's).
She's actually small enough so that she's not in the way lying in front of the monitor. She is also really amused by my typing.
