Teenage Dating is the most hilarious human invention ever!
The tradition of "I OWN HIM(HER) LOLZ KAY GUYZ LOOKS AT MAH BOYFREIND(or GRILFRIEND) IM A REAL PERSON LOLZ" is pretty funny if you thnk about it
I think it all stems from lack of self confidence, or from an ego where you feel your so desirable that you have to be nice and let SOMEONE be lucky enough to be YOUR plaything.
Was talking for the better part of the last week of school with a freshman who swaers she LOVES her boyfreind up and down. (they have been "Teenage" dating for 3 weeks).
My conclusion is the inherent flaw is manogamy, Instead of being based on trust is based on clout and personal gains.
Some exceptions may arise, but for the most part i think it all fits in here.
