So yeah, it is offical, Mike has gotten me hooked on a few ska bands. Though, I hardly think that The Epoxies count because... well... they don't sound ska-ish, they just play their fucking guitar on the up-beat. But The Aquabats are pretty sweet, and I look forward to their show once I get home.

Since I got that indietorrents account I've had far to much music coming in to listen to, though, now that the initial grab is over I think it'll slow down a bit. Lately I've been hitting Calexico and The Espers pretty hard. Cam had be DL some Remy Zero, who is pretty hardxcore also. Yeah. I said it. And ya know what? ... I don't even know.

New +/- rocks my world.

Anyway, finals week is coming up and I, of course, am stressed... though maybe not as much as I should be. For once I feel like I actually have this set of tests in control... or perhaps it is just my sheer lack of motivation that is bringing this feeling about. As the end approaches it is harder and harder to actually go to class. I just want to go and nap under a tree somewhere. Not to mention that thoughts of this summer float about in my head constantly, making it hard to pay attention. I'll only need to really study for two of my finals though, logic is going to just be proofs based on conditional proofs and indirect proofs. Japanese is cumulative anyway, I'll have to go over some of the old vocab but we pretty much use the majority of it regularly anyway. Political Parties I'll have to study my ass off for, and I figure I'll do a study group session this weekend for the Health lecture.

I am just super excited for this summer. I get to go home and see drewski, dani and cam. Not to mention not have to be super stressed out all the tme b/c of school, though I will be taking a calc class at macomb in order to catch up on my minor.

So yeah, I just need to finish out these last couple weeks and I'll be home.

Should be interesting to see whether or not I go insane.

music, school
