Ever approaching

Beijing is getting closer by the day - duh! - and I am waiting for it to hit me.  It has yet to set in that I am not going to see certain people for several months.  I don't know what that's going to do to me.  Will I crack? Will the experience of setting foot in another country for the first time even be memorable
