I'm going to be ditching unpatchable Windows 2000 on a webserver I use. I'm not paying for a new windows license for a server that I use for art. I'm looking for linux or free unix distro recommendations. In recent years I've only used linux for desktop purposes. What do you recommend as an efficient (not a resource hog), secure, and easy to administer server? I want something easier to use then SCO, and more efficient and easier to lockdown than Ubuntu.
