Heroes of Enroth

I know you can hear me Dragon. Know that I again send these thoughts only to you. Do you share these with those who also wear your ring? I suppose from their actions and demeanor towards me that you do not.

That is good. They would suspect my commitment to your cause otherwise. We cannot succeed if we become subject to infighting.

Did you know that your Desert brother sets himself a hord in a temple? Does he think himself a god? Or does he wish to ascend to such a position.

I would have though dragons would have loftier goals. To be a god is to be a slave. Correlion, Morradin, even Bahamut, they are all slaves. Perhaps not slaves in the traditional sence, but slaves nontheless.

Earthly power, or absolute power, those are the only real power. But only the latter is eternal. Earthly power is fleeting, it can be taken away by those above you, and there is always someone above you.

The gods may have great power, but it dependant on their followers. A god without followers is nothing. Without belief, they falter and fade.

No, to be a god is to accept chains, to accept a limitation to one's power. I aspire to more. I would have though dragons would aspire to more as well.
