Year 5, day 61
My friends are worried about our patron. He is a good man now, but StevenJohn worries that he may be on a slippery slope. In the end, does it matter. He provides security and prosperity to the people he rules. The outcome his actions generate out way whatever reason he may have for creating them. I hold no fear of being sent out to steal objects from the "goodly" races, nor slaughtering those who don't deserve it. Lord Ashkore seems obsessed with ancient draconic artifacts, and I see no corruption or evil in that. There is strength in dragons, and while not all were a force for good, there's is a race that all know of.
What I grow worried of however, is that one of our group may fall obtaining another draconic object.
Year 5, day 62
It seems we are now headed to midland. Our destination would not be so... anticipated were it not for Julian. It seems he had some trouble there five or so years ago. As did StevenJohn, or rather just Steven. I don't know. The lines between them blur more and more. I truly hope John is a being in the mask, otherwise there is no hope for Steven. None-the-less, we shall endevour to keep our companions with us. If they have fines to pay, well, they have a share in the treasure. But their mistakes are their own, I'll not pay for their wrong doings.
