In the last hectic update the Dashwood's moved to Moonlight Falls and you all voted Oscar in as Generation 3 Heir. He then met up with Maggie who had not stalked him at all and had just happened to move at the exact same time. They married and were expecting a baby.
Also, despite the misleading title page, no Flying/Jumping/Falling Bilbo's will be appearing in this update.
Onwards!
Maggie turned out to be pretty keen about the whole baby thing and began reading up as much as she could.
Oscar seems to be pretty excited about the baby and always takes time to feel Maggie's belly.
He even tries to help with the backaches she gets in the morning.
Bilbo is finally realising that having a grandchild will mean he's a grandfather. It seems that his midlife crisis may be coming back with a vengeance.
Maggie has started spending a lot of time in the newly decorated nursery. The paint fumes are probably a bad idea but Maggie is moody enough that no one can bring themselves to suggest otherwise.
Alice sent over a witchy-teddy bear. The humour was not lost on Oz and Mags.
I love jungle/animal themes for nurseries.
Oscar has been working late at night trying to earn a promotion now that the baby is close to arriving.
He has an adorable thinking face.
Catherine and Bilbo were invited by Alice to a swimwear party. This is despite Alive and Lorena currently living in a shack with no water nearby.
Regardless, they stick to the dress code and Catherine reveals that despite being a few days away from elderhood, she still has a pretty rocking bod.
When they get in I notice a few....exotic...looking guests.
"There is a half-naked vampire in my baby girl's house."
...
So Bilbo isn't all too pleased.
Lewis is standing awkwardly in the bedroom. Good to see he's still alive.
"Is the married vampire checking me out? Brilliant. My plan is going down without a hitch."
It seems Alice is up to her usual tricks.
"So this is what I come home to? Vampires, my big brother and my parents all hanging around in their swimwear. I think I need to talk to Alice about this."
"Hm, check out that hunk of a man. What is he doing in my daughter's house? Do I recognise him?"
"Oh god mum."
Bilbo felt the need to ask Alice about the number of half-dressed undead wandering around the house.
Alice's response was to simply stare at him.
Just staring. For over an hour.
I'm not even joking.
"So Lewis, sweetie. I hear you've been dating a nice young girl. Tell me. When were you planning on letting me know about the premarital sex hm? Am I at least going to get an illegitimate grandbaby out of this?"
"Uh...mum? maybe we should talk about this another time. As in, never?"
"I could just leave. Far away. I hear Hidden Springs is lovely this time of year."
Poor Lorena. Poor, poor Lorena. It's taken her this long to realise just how crazy her family can be.
Back at the house Maggie is working in the garage on something. She's found her inventing groove again and is keen to achieve her lifetime goal of having 3 monsters.
She does this all while heavily pregnant, without gloves or goggles, or even a thick apron.
Apparently "the sparks are good for the baby, they help keep the little guy on his toes."
Bilbo is mayor now. He has a mayorly sash and everything.
Maggie's eggo is looking seriously preggo at the moment. She's bound to pop any minute now.
She manages a massage and is on her way to get lunch when the baby decides that it's time to start this party.
Welcoming baby Nikolas, named for renowned engineer and physicist Nikolas Tesla. He rolled Insane and Genius.
Something tells me the exposure to paint fumes and blowtorches had an effect.
Here he is all aged up. He's an adorable little baby witch, just like his mama.
Looks like Darcy's ears are back.
I approve.
That's all for now. Short update I know, but I haven't had much time recently. Next time there will be more babies. And maybe Lorena will find a slice of sanity in this increasingly crazy world.
Maybe.
