Last we left off Freddie calmed down and found a girl, Jon was born with elf ears and instantly forgotten, Catherine experienced the awkwardness of being a teenager and Henry and Darcy just tried to keep up really.
This is also the first generation two chapter! Exciting stuff I know. It didn't take too long to get to this point right? Onwards!
The Dashwood's have moved to
Queenstown after Eltham's Drift became overpopulated and declared war on my laptop. The first few pics aren't actually taken in this house as it took me a while to find the right place. Hey, I'm fussy.
Here's a shot of the lower floor with kitchen, party area, dining room, study, living room and three bathrooms. There's also a two car garage to the side.
Upstairs we have two double bedrooms, three kids rooms, a nursery, two bathroom and a second sort of...family area. It's a lovely house and you can download it
here!
Catherine and Bilbo (
negomimogen) are disgustingly in love and take every opportunity to let the world know.
To the point where we witness a good old-fashioned kitchen proposal and wedding.
...and the next generation is on it's way.
Bilbo has managed to get a job at the town hall working as a podium polisher (someone has to do it.) but hopes that if he works on his speeches for world peace at home perhaps he'll get the chance to impress his boss at work and actually get involved. Catherine is extremely supportive of Bilbo and always makes sure he has his rags and polish packed in the mornings.
With all the excitement of the newlyweds Jon has once more been a little forgotten, not that he minds. He seems to prefer the company of Dickens anyway. He grew up into a teen, rolled animal lover and oddly enough the LTW to Live in the Lap of Luxury, so he was promptly sent off to Smuggsworth Prep in hoes of learning "the difference between us and them."
With their first child on the way Catherine decided to check in with her brother Freddie who had also moved to Queenstown with his wife Hope.
Unfortunately Freddie was just leaving for work as Catherine arrived but Hope invited her in to catch up all the same.
While she was there Catherine was introduced to Luke (he's artistic and excitable for those wo care. It's Freddie's son so I care.)
Of course Catherine had her own news to share.
Hope was super excited to be an aunt.
Back at home it seems Darcy is pretty thrilled to be a grandmother and has begun painting things for the nursery.
Catherine has got really...really quite large. Pregnancy suits her I think.
"Yay! The baby's coming!"
"Oh, ow ow OW! The baby's coming!"
Meet Lewis, he's artistic and athletic, and likes chinese music, fruit parfait and violet.
Henry ages up in the bathroom...
...with Darcy ageing up in the living room. She looks very dignified I think, but like we could expect any less from Mrs. Darcy Dashwood herself.
Everyone loves to play with Lewis, especially Darcy who adores her grandson to pieces.
Bilbo also makes sure to take time to spend some quality time with his son while Catherine catches up on sleep.
Also, thumbs up for over saturation. Bilbo and Lewis look like they're half satsuma.
Of course just as the family settles into life with Lewis there's a break-in.
"This was a mistake. Did you know I'm a retired police officer?"
"She's an elderly lady! How is this possible?"
"I really do hope you haven't woken my grandson, that would only make the police report worse I can assure you."
Bilbo wasn't able to handle the situation anywhere near as well.
Seems about right.
The next day after battling with the robber Darcy went to see how Luke was doing.
As you can see he looks a lot like his mother, right down to her purple eyes. Purple. Eyes.
Back at the house it's Lewis's birthday! Time to enter toddler-hood.
Lewis is a clone of Bilbo, but I'm not complaining because look how sweet he is.
Catherine is expecting again but still manages to make sure Lewis learns all his skills. She's a natural mother.
Lewis is a very happy child.
We seem to have an issue with evil paper delivery kids here in Queenstown. However it should be noted that there haven't been any questionable pregnancies, affairs or anything like that, unlike Eltham's Drift.
Catherine still has her more dramatic moments.
I'm afraid it ends here as my game decided to shut down just as I was about to take pictures of Lewis and the new baby so here's a surprise cliff hanger.
Next time, babies, babies and yeah...more babies.
