I haven't updated in a whiles! And what more perfect time could there be, than now? I'm bored, and in the mood for talking about things.
I didn't work today. Waayyy too windy, so we cancelled. I haven't done much. Been quite lazy...
I woke up this morning with a yucky itchy rash everywhere. I don't know where it came from...
I had a cold shower, and about 30 minutes later it was all gone. Thankfully!
The past week has been fairly bludgy actually. Life is good.. LoL
Didn't work Monday or Tuesday.. monday - bad weather, and tuesday we had a boat service.
Ken came down on Monday afternoon
We went to the movies and saw Resident Evil Apocolyps.. it was quite good. I think i broke Ken's hand coz i was squeezing it so hard
It was soooo scary..
On Tuesday we went to Pacific Fair and had a look around. I found this funny fishing cartoon desk calender that I'm going to get dad for christmas
After Pacific Fair we went down to Kurrawa Park and ate our subway for lunch. It was yummy, except they didn't have beetroot. What sort of Subway has no beetroot?..
After lunch we laid under a shady tree, or three. LoL.. we kept having to move because the shade was running away, or we were getting attacked by ants etc..
We then went for a walk to Oasis shops, and got some cold rock icecream.. whoever invented that store needs much praise. Mmmm... evil undietary goodness! (
theres no ice cream icon!?!?!?!?)
THEN... we went to the algae infested pond in Kurrawa park and looked at the steroid fed duckies.. they were MASSIVE!~ and then some mini duckies came along, they were so cute. I named each and every one of them... you know what i named them? "Duck!"
Worked on Wednesday and Thursday.
Did a little bit of study during the week, but not a heap. I have finished one unit, and started on another one. Got about 11 to do all up. Lots and lots of work.
A heaps of pressure has been taken off though. I thought I had to have them finished by the time i went on the practical course, in November. But i talked to the lady yesterday, and she said that they dont need to be done for then.
On that note... I might not even be going on the course anymore because they only have 3 people! The prices are based on 12 people going.. so i doubt theyre going to get 12 by then, it's in like.. 16 days!
I wanted to go
The Living End are playing at the Waterloo Hotel tonight. I would much love to go, however.. Ken has already made plans with friends so he can't go. Therefore, I have nobody to go with
I might be working tomorrow anyway, who knows? This wind is howling, aparently it will ease by the morning. But it doesn't look like it to me!
I ordered a new phone today
Because my other plan is up.
Oh Oh, Ken just rang and said he CAN go to living end… argh, now I have to see if the other deckhand can work tomorrow.. because the weather isn’t bad. Crappo! What to do?
Hmm, i've just been informed that Michael cant get down here from Brisbane until tomorrow... looks like i either go to living end, and come home and be tired at work.. or i dont go at all...
