we have officially started planning
Dear Friends & Family,
We have officially started planning. We've started a new blog to track the comings and goings of our wedding planning: http://jedandsherry.blogspot.com/
We have two dates picked out. Saturday, August 8 & Friday, August 14. We favor the 14th, but the date will depend on our venue.
We've narrowed down our list of venues to 4. And Jed has been tasked with the challenge of calling said venues and hopefully knocking out three of the four.
Our hope and goal is to send out save the dates by February 1st. (This coming from the girl who still has Christmas cards from 2005 sitting in her closet. & other various xmas/bday gifts for family & friends also gathering dust... cross your fingers folks!)
Our wants and goals for the wedding are very simple:
- SMALL (100 guests or less- not that we don't love a lot of people, we just can't afford a big wedding)
- Barbeque
- Sno Cones
- Pansit (HINT HINT MOM)
- Music
- Photos
- FUN
- I'd like a pretty dress
