im no super awesome writer, but i figure i'll try my hand at this here songwriting thing again
(my blog thing wont work so im posting here. lucky for all of you)
no idea what to call this one. for now it shall remain nameless.
"eyes turned upside down and
inside out with nothing left to say
turning trying to catch a shooting star
seemingly within reach but then it falls away
i'm hoping to break the mold that others go by
keeping the idea that no one can do how I do
to set the tone for the rest of the crowd
if only you heard me say your name out loud
winter slumbers come easily now
as the rains gone, as the rains gone
as you've been searching for something else
you found me here instead
stretching out my arm, small as it is
its about all im really fit to give
and my pearl in the ocean lost not found
maybe im not suited for such things now
winter slumbers come easily now
as the rains gone, as the rains gone
as youve been searching for something else
you found me here instead
its with whispered breathe
without fear, without doubt
im here to set the tone for the rest of the crowd
if only you heard me say your name out loud
if only
if only
if only"
mr anthony and i are tentatively doing a show on the 17th of november. currently creating new songs (sorta) that hopefully wont suck. so if ur in the neighborhood stop on by, cheer him on, cause im pretty much there to make him look good. better. something.
i wish i could write like better.
its late. very late. ive got a 930 in the am.
"Try to understand there's an old mistake
that fools will make and,
I'm the king of them" - dashboard confessional
that seems to say it all right there, simple and precise.
you ever say things you mean, and not know what to do about them. any advice?
but im sure this comes as no surprise.
its at 330in the am of sunday morn as i begin my project again.
write on write on, one thing about a bunch of writings put together to look like a book (when its not really) is that even if its not true in reality. . .
i get to write the happy ending
