Triple Venti Kind of Day
So the semester starts tomorrow - and though I'm an academic addict I can't say that I'm really feeling eager about it right now. So here I am, at Starbucks with my triple-venti, 3 pump sugar free, skim, extra-foam upside down caramel machiato. . . watching New Yorkers be cold. There's a lady here that looks like Julia Child in her younger years (if she even had any) and then a guy wearing a v-neck knit shirt with no undershirt of any kind - that's just not cool.
It's one of those sunny days that still manages to be cold. . . those are the most interesting types of days because it's sort of like how things aren't always like they appear to be.
Have I done any school work today? Sure have . . . read 2 chapters of Lortie's Schoolteacher for C&T 5000. I still have to finish my first paper (which is due during the first class.
