Then we spent a night on a club campsite near Narbonne, watched the football game Germany vs Australia with a lot of other Germans, which was fun, before the adventure began...
Unfortunately we didn't had the time to visit Carcasonne. :((( Will go there sometime!
We crossed the Pyrenees via Lourdes and then a very small road, single track with serpentines and tiny tunnels. And many sheeps. I was driving and the Bus is such a small and handy car. *coughs*

And one of the passes (yes, we saw some cyclists on our way, this seems to be a regular training loop)
