Karaoke Competition 2008
Annual company karaoke competition last nite... my 3rd time participating... sang Jay Chou's 菊花台 and got 2nd prize heh...
The competition was much tougher this year... more good singers than previously... there was an audition held the week before where I thought there were 1 or 2 others who had the potential to be in the top 3... but they chose the wrong songs to sing for the competition itself. I'll always remember a comment one of the judges made the first time I joined the competition, paraphrased "It doesn't matter what song you sing, so long it sounds nice when you sing it". This is something which I have been reminding myself of.
My colleague recorded my performance... was rather nervous so fouled up at some parts...anyway, here's the clip.
